She was so obviously pencilled in to go, I'm amazed she survived. So was Simon by the looks of it.

They had set her up to fail with the song and styling from yesterday but I'm glad she made it through. She's one of the best in it.

Surprising. She might actually have a pretty strong fanbase if she managed to survive after probably objectively the worst she's ever done. Could come back strong if she gives something a bit better next week perhaps.

I suspect Simon will have her on first next week wearing stockings and suspenders and doing a mash up of Hanky Panky and MMbop.

The fundamental flaw in the show's execution. They couldn't make it any more obvious that they have an agenda in who they want and who they don't.

I'm glad for Monica that she stayed, as I think she's very talented, but I don't think Simon or the powers that be would be overjoyed if she lasted much longer. She's not puppetesque enough.

She seems to be set up to be this years token difficult contestant who disagrees with the producers.

I think Monica is one of the chosen ones this year I think Simon just thought she might've gone he seems to be a big fan of Monica and tweets about her too.

Think Simon is a fan of hers too......he spoke a few home truths yesterday ( for once) and now her ' mentor' is dumb struck! !! I Wonder if Monicas longevity on the show would be in question if Simon was her mentor????
