Maybe people saw through the utterly fake persona and screaming? Frankly I thought he was awful

You thought he sang badly? Really? Serious question.

Adam Lambert has ten times the talent of Seann Miley Moore. Gay, straight or whatever, he was far too good not to make the final.

But let's not forget that ultimately he lost to boring middle-of-the-road Kris Allen.

If he was in the bottom two this early then sadly he was never going to do well. I think Mason did really well in the sing off and he ultimately seemed like he could have more of a chance in the coming weeks.

Great result - sorry to see Kiera go as she did put on a good performance this week, but that disappointment was made up for by seeing the end of SMM

For me it was surprising but not unwelcome, as was the fact that Mason also lacked the support of the GBP.

I don't know any women who dress like that.

I bet Seann will be brought back as a wildcard for the X Factor tour like Aiden was a few years ago when he was booted off early.

Seann is more Eurovision than X factor. Far too theatrical.

Gutted. But in a way relieved I don't have to watch this cruddy show any more. I usually only dip in at audition stage but stayed to see what Sean would do next. I'll catch up on Anton's performances on u tube and bung all my votes his way regardless as he is the best remaining vocalist.

It was the right result the bottom two/three are the bottom two/three for a reason they didn't get enough votes, simples!

I felt much worse after this result than I did when Paul was eliminated last year, I wasn't expecting a shock elimination for at least 2 or maybe 3 more weeks. I guess the voters just didn't like a gay guy in drag, even if he was probably the best singer this season...too bad .

He lacks and light or shade and is far better suited to touring productions of Gypsy with him in the starring role - never a pop star.

He sung better than mason but lets face it he looked like a right dick

It was the right choice saturday nights performance made no sense, california dreaming in japan?

His look got him to the live shows, he is too musical theatre for x factor.

I don't think he was ever going to do amazingly this year - he's too "different" for the general British public to ever get behind him. I'm sure he'll do well in musical theatre if he goes into it, but definitely the right decision for him to leave at this stage.

I have no problem at all with people looking androgynous or "different", but with Seann, after the initial impact wears off, you realise you're watching a burly, hairy half-undressed drag queen in a baseball cap singing show tunes.

He just isn't pop star material.

I didn't get the hype of Seann - yes he could sing, but he relied more on his cross dressing gimmick than he did on his voice.

Had he shown up dressed as a bloke this week (even with make up) he would have been taken more seriously. I was however surprised to see him go against Mason - who has been unpopular from the start

He was quite clearly a Marmite character. Very well loved by some but not so much others - coupled with the fact that I think it was assumed he was 'safe'.

You don't have to win X Factor to do well. Ella Henderson is proof that an ear'y exit isn't the end of the world.

Is it Crazy? Yes Is it wrong? Yes Is it expected ? Yes

Its all part of the XFactor reality show

Take a read of Steve Brookstein's book, highly recommended you can actually make sense of the last 10 years of crazy song choices and voting decisions

Its all very scripted

Rita and Nick as the new kids on the block had to play bad judge and take it to deadlock, Cheryl has been there but now she gets to play good judge

I don't think it has anything to do with good judge/bad judge. He had the second least number of votes - if more people had voted for him he wouldn't be in the position he is now. He has got the exposure in the UK that he wanted - if he's popular enough and has wide appeal he'll do alright.
