All they needed to do was let it run its course. He would have lasted a bit longer than they would have liked, but he wouldn't have won. Now they have stirred up a hornet's nest with their blatant underhand tactics he will probably last longer than he would have naturally.

You just know if Simon wasn't mentoring Anton that he'd be spewing harsh critiques at him otherwise. He's stuck with him now and has to pretend to support him.

I said it as soon as the perf finished, I think if anything the whole thing would have prevented rather than ensured him being bottom 3. It will get people talkng, sympathy etc, and that will make people vote.

simon really doesn't care who wins , if he can create drama and talking points on the show whilst still getting publicity for any of the acts he does want to invest in after the show thats all that matters

problem is all the fakery is costing them viewers so his "chosen ones" might not be getting as much publicity as he hoped , from what i saw elsewhere the rating were down 20% on the same weekend last year , 20% in one year is a massive fall

They should have get rid of 4th impact just to get those high ratings back. I think 4th impact is the reason why the ratings declining because british national don't like them at all. Public revenge is all I can see why the ratings very much affected.
