Exactly imo I think Matt pulled off Series 5 better than Tennant could ever do I cant imagine Tennant in place of Smith and him talking to Amelia, Tennant is more of an RTDish urban more human like estuary Doctor, while Matt was nice and silly in Series 5 not too silly though which fit perfectly with little Amelia Pond and the Grown Woman she came to be.
