The Stone Roses doing proper venues instead of crappy stadiums.

You know they're touring the new album round about right now? OK, so it may not be greatest hits tour, but the set lists look pretty great:

Can see them doing some more shows next year - am hoping they'll play Glastonbury - would make a great headliner for the John Peel tent.

Am hoping Prince sorts himself out and reschedules the aborted tour with him and the piano. Knowing Prince, by the new year he'll be bored with the idea and moved on to something else.

This. Plus they're playing good, fairly small venues.

Why anyone would prefer to see a band at an arena or a stadium rather than an Academy or club sized venue is totally beyond me.

The tickets for the six Prince shows in the UK were scheduled for release last Friday, but he decided to postpone the release when he came across that ticket touts were going to be buying lots of tickets - like they do all the time - and then selling them for more than their face value. In the event of the Paris attacks, Prince then went ahead and canceled the entire European tour which in my opinion was the right decision. I can imagine the tour may be rescheduled for next year, but I guess it all depends on what Prince may want to do.

He will be back at some point...it's inevitable....but don't know if him & the piano will be.

I don't think the chances are good.

Didn't she have to cancel some dates due to illness? And she has said a few times that she hates the travelling aspect of touring.

If she did come to the UK I would be there in a heartbeat.

I was meaning to come back here and add The Cure, but my wish has unexpectedly been granted AND I've just got tickets in the pre-sale
