Surprised that the synopsis for part 2 hasn't been posted in this thread yet...

Follow the link to read the Hell Bent synopsis but beware of a big spoiler!

Regarding the aforementioned spoiler, I would laugh my head off if
Spoiler
the Rani were to make a cameo in the finale!

That synopsis just made me ovulate. And I'm male so that's quite an acomplishment.

I wonder who it is who betrays the Doctor. The synopsis for Hell Bent mentions the Doctor being betrayed and trapped. So who stabs him in the back? Ashildr? Clara? Missy (he possibly still sees her a friend of sorts since he sent her the confession dial)? It looks like someone is conspiring against him and we might find out very soon, perhaps in Face the Raven.

I wonder, are the Timelords somehow responsible for Clara's death?

That's the implication, but we don't actually know at all yet.

I wonder if we might see Missy again in this episode.
Spoiler
We don't actually know when this adventure will take place from Missy's perspective, if she appears, so we might actually be seeing the story of how Missy alone escaped from Gallifrey. And knowing Moffat's style, it wouldn't surprise me if the Doctor mentions Clara to Missy, thus triggering a bootstrap paradox where Missy sets up their original meeting in The Bells of Saint John.

For some reason with the finale I'm reminded of Logopolis...

It really boggles the mind as to what is gonna happen. We have essentially a two hour movie length finale and almost no idea what is gonna happen or sets or characters- aside from of course the obvious fact the first 55 minutes is just the Doctor.

I am shocked it has not leaked on what Claras specific fate is or what happens to her,

It's good, isn't it.

I do tend to get a bit emotional with such moments and don't care if that sounds silly. Just seeing the preview of tomorrow's episode and the "I may be brave" line got to me. Some people on tinternet will be throwing a virtual "Hurray! She's gone!" party, or not depending upon what happens, but although I think it's time to move on, I will miss Jenna.

agree, I thought her and PC were really great together(weird to see him doing promotion alone in Australia) But I am looking forward to the next companion and a new dynamic.

Clara really grew on me. The Impossible Girl arc didn't really give her that much to work with - she was basically a plot device - but she has been excellent since then. This series, though, it's felt like we've gone as far as we can go with the character. That's no reflection on Jenna, just that it feels to me like Clara's journey was completed after Danny's death and we've been treading water since. It's time to move on but I will miss her a lot.

Yes, the whole impossible girl storyline with Smith did nothing for me. I just thought clara was a flirty, flibbertigibbet with 11

Thats a few times now we have seen that confession dial and when Ashildir asked the Doctor what was in it, he said he didn't know.

Its obvious this is about revenge but for what and the hybrid is a hybrid of what...is the Doctor the hybrid....is River, after all she was conceived as human but onboard the tardis, hence, human and gallifreyan.

Where does Clara fit into all this.......What if another splinter of Clara is evil and removing all her other splinters....

As for Missy she has to be involved, she is connected to that confession dial and why does Ashildir want it?

Yup. You can see the Elvis mural in many shots of Matt sucking his 'extra fizz' straw.
