Lawrence's odd behaviour

What do you think is the reason behind Lawrence's 'no sex' and 'seperate bedrooms'.

Do you think he really is gay?

Could he have erectile dysfunction?

Could something terrible have happened to him in prison? Something he doesn't want Bernice to see.

Or could they be doing an Eastenders lol with Lawrence dressing up in his bedroom.

What do you think? ..

I dont know. But there is another thread with a theory that because of his sex problems Chrissie may not be his biological daughter.

But didn't Bernice go on holiday with him and they were all loved up when they returned. Btw am I the only one who found it plain odd Rodney discussing her bedroom activities and talking about "Hunter"

Yeah. They were all loved up because he had just proposed to her. Bernice admitted to Kerry that they have never slept together.

I think Lawrence is shy of his body maybe.

Yeah. Bernice told Chrissie that her and Lawrence got engaged whilst in Australia in the episode where they went to visit Lawrence in prison.

I get the impression its been along time since his wife died, and I don't think he just jumps into bed with anybody, so I think he is just self conscious about it all.

I know people are saying perhaps he never had a physical relationship with his wife and that Chrissie isn't his daughter, but don't forget he has another daughter so would that mean she isn't his too?

Like I say he is probably nervous and doesn't want to disappoint her. Who knows this is soaps so its probably something else and I am completely wrong!

Yeah. There are some theories going round that Chrissie isnt really his and this is soapland so they would do a storyline like that. But who knows.

He was gay though wasn't he?

That's why he had aversion therapy...And he then had a relationship with a woman, so I guess he's bisexual.

Personally, I think he's gay, yes - but the show is playing it very ambiguously. We only know that he did have a relationship with Edna's husband when he was young.

He doesn't have erectile dysfunction - the story is that when he was in prison when he was young, they gave him aversion therapy for his homosexuality which has put him off sexual intimacy.

However, the storyline is very confusing. We know he slept with his wife. We know he won't sleep with Bernice. We don't know if he felt or feels desire for either of them.

He could be bisexual and avoiding sex because of the treatment he was forced to have - maybe his recent prison stint has triggered memories of it. Or he could be avoiding sex because he is gay, and he really can't feel desire for a woman, but is in complete denial. He certainly seems like he's in denial to me.

So then he was gay, or bi at the very least. If he had a relationship with a bloke then it's hardly ambiguous.
