Because she is utterly addicted to fame and publicity. And being of little talent needs all the help she can get.

Rita is definitely only a judge for the fame and money. As perfectly put by someone before, she is a 'fame whore'.

Personally, I think she is incredibly unlikable and I have no idea why Simon chose her in the first place? Hopefully this is her only series on the show because she's not doing it for the right reasons.

The thing with Simon is that he has never even tried to pretend to care that much about his acts from the start, he mentions that he didn't want the overs every second he's on camera - which (to me) makes him honest and I'm not gonna hold a grudge against him for that - he's not fake like Rita.

Nick and Cheryl do seem to be the only ones interested in their acts and I hope they both are back next year (although I doubt Nick will be, as there has been such a negative reaction to him. Plus him and Louis Tomlinson reportedly don't get on and LT is already on the panel for 2016 I predict.)

Slightly off topic, but I'd love to have a Simon/Cheryl/Tulisa/Nick panel next year!
