She's a great performer....but the song is already annoying. And her voice is pretty weak.

The song literally a poor mans Uptown Funk. Syco have obviously seen the success of her performance last year (going to #1 on iTunes etc) and tried to recreate that. Where does that leave her artistically? Is she a one trick pony? Where will she in 5 years?

My honest opinion is that Cowell has seen the opportunity to make a quick buck and will be bored of her in the next couple of years.

I was in tears watching her perform. Fleur is so good she is almost other wordly.

Me too. My eyes have been opened to the wonder that is Fleur. I have deleted all the music that I previously listened to and now have Uptown Funk, no I mean Sax, on a loop. i can't wait till the album comes out. In fact I am so excited I will post umpteen fanboy threads until it is released

Right...Fleur IS a really good performer but to say it was a Janet/Beyonce league is one hell of a stretch.

Janet and Beyonce got their own league by well over a decade of being consistantly good.

Fleur appeared on a singing competition and has had one single to which the chart performance will remain unknown until Friday.

She hasn't changed the course of British Music forever...she is caught in an extremely stacked industry up against some world class performers who are better singers than her.

Yes she can dance - there are probably hundreds of dancers on her level

Yes she has that type of 'look' - so do hundreds of women

Ultimately to get on Janet/Beyonce/Whitney league you have to be able to sing. Their amazing and distinct voices are what makes them special. The look/personality/dancing e.t.c are just bonuses. Without the voice they would not be as special, even if they still contained the other qualities.

Fleur can occasionally hold a tune but vocally she will never be strong enough to be on the Beyonce level.

I agree that she's a good performer and they've given her a first single that will resonate with her XF supporters but to be putting her up there with Janet and Beyonce (neither of whom are to my taste either) is taking the hype way too far

Yes Fleur is a great little dancer but her voice is weak and she was lucky last year that Simon was backing her to win

But she is nowhere near the big league superstar singers, maybe compared to a couple of back up dancers ok

So proud of her ! Glad to see so many supporting her from the USA! Been a very long time since we have had an entertainer liked,eur from the UK! It will be a real spectacle to see her live in concert! She is an advertiser and promoters dream

She's still not a great singer, but she doesn't need to be. She knows how to put on a great performance and that's all that matters for her style of music.

Couldn't fully appreciate it fully since the blue and yellow in the background gave me a headache though.
