Yes, it's hilarious how much it's like Bargain Hunt. The song is a bit novelty. It reminds me more of Bom Bom than Uptown Funk or Michael Jackson. Whilst I like Fleur, I can't help but feel that she's insanely lucky that Uptown Funk wasn't released a few weeks later. That being said, she's a great performer.

That's Simon Cowell for you. Push an average performer as far as he could get her in a show to promo her. Get annoyed at the winner & spend zero investment in him, while spending so much on his own choice that she'll never sell enough albums to make up the loss.

I think people are bein. Quite harsh about her career - it's only just started she's number 2 and just behind Adele not bad for a beginner - she's done better than the winner already - she has the right backing aswell.

She can obviously sing - Rihanna doesn't have the strongest vocal but she's one of the most successful artists of today and look at olly murs - there's lots of singers who make up for less Whitney fied vocals and are all round performers instead, if you have a killer song you shoot to the top that's what Is it about - it's all about the first song you bring it - it's make or break and sax has had a amazingly positive review all in all and I thInk it's a great tune catchy and fun!

In terms of people lazily saying it's an Uptown funk cover I think is ridiculous it doesn't sound like it at all - there are Elements yes but how else are artists going to come up with beats without inspiration - a lot of the charts since 2013 are trying to bring back the old school funk sound so like blurred lines, Get lucky, Michael Jackson latest tracks, uptown funk - it's all down to old music just blended to make it sound modern, take olly new song kiss me for example that's very 80s sounding - producer would have obviously been looking through the catalogue to see what they could draw on - it's how music is made.

I think Fleur is in it for the Long haul and she will establish herself and do well because she brings it everytime and she actually Bothers with her fans - and she pushes herself - I don't think she'll be going anywhere Cept to the top!

I think Fleur fans needs to just accept this is a forum and people have their own opinions

Most "fans" can appreciate the good and bad in their favourite artist its expected as they want the best for them (see the Little Mix or Fifth Harmony Discussion Thread)

Can hardly say fleur is a success yet, she's got 1 single, promoted on x factor which will be one of the best programmes to promote on. Theres quite a few artists that have a few successful songs then go downhill.

She did smash her performance but miming in parts does take away from that.

The single was already top 10 before she was on the show, and pre oreder sales for the album are really good as well.
