This is because i dont like any of the acts that are on the show either. Makes me laugh really.

Very good. I am pleased that you enjoy browsing through my posts. I may make the odd comment, but i dont make dozens of comments every day about acts i am not too keen on. There in is the difference.

Announcing that you are putting someone on ignore kinda defeats the purpose... But at least it may stop the pack mentality going on lately.

I'm not a Fleur "hater" but I don't like the single and feel she is very overrated. Her performance/dance skills are better than vocals and for me it always has to be the vocals first. She very obviously mimed because you can't perform as energetic a dance routine as that and still maintain a very good vocal performance but good for her on her success. Not my cup of tea but that's just my personal taste.

Not really. The purpose of putting someone on ignore is to not see their posts in order to improve the forum experience for oneself. Telling a poster you're doing so doesn't undo the fact you'll no longer see their posts.

As for 'pack mentality' that works both ways. Speaking for myself I am bored of Fleur fans spamming the main forums with premature pronouncements of her deification. Add to that some simply inaccurate information being promoted as fact and it becomes quite irritating. If there are 'packs' then the way I see it is that it basically comes down to 'realists' who value measured and honest forum discussion and 'fantasists' who actively wish (ab)use the forums to persuade the rest of us of the second coming through sheer force of repetition.
