I absolutely love Team GG . Whenever I see them together I swear there is so much passion and energy between them. I know Georgia is happy with Sean but I'm suspecting that something is going on behind the scenes. Opinions?

I thought there may have been something there in the first week, but after that everything felt very platonic.

Georgia is in a relationship, and Giovanni is seemingly getting closer to Jo Clifton.

No , I think not . There is a comfortable intense closeness that you'd expect with dance partners who need to be able to read their partner well , but there is no sexy chemistry , in my opinion .

Jo and Giovanni are close not surer romantically - they went to same academy in Italy (Diablo in Bologna) and I think he is on SCD cos of that connection he has stayed with Jo often in London over last year - but think he is just friendly with Georgia they dont come across as involved that way to me

They seem to be good friends but she's very happy with her boyfriend and he does sometimes come across as baffled by her northern ways.

Him and Jo though. There was something about the way they danced together that made stop and think "hang on are these two a couple" in the same way I did when I first saw Janette and Alijaz dance together before I knew they were together.

She posts about her boyfriend a lot on social media and he was in the audience during Halloween week; He seemed so PROUD of her at the end of her routine (couldnt stop smiling and clapping; he almost seemed teary-eyed ) and she looked like she just wanted to run and hug him given the huge praise she got...I just found the whole scene so sweet; they obviously love each other very much. Or maybe I'm just an old romantic . If you go back and watch the show and see that, I dare you to not go awwwwww .

I agree . Someone posted a picture of georgia, gio and 'calum' walking together having a right old laugh and they all looked totally relaxed , no tension , no funny glances of the kind you'd expect if you suspected you're gf was involved elsewhere .
bib , he was in the audience on saturday night too . He was sat in front of emily andre and I noticed him when the camera was on her after peter danced . Great to see him fully supporting georgia so openly .

I think they have more of a brother/sister relationship plus her bf is always in the audience clapping & cheering for her I doubt he'd be in the audience if he suspected something was going on between them two

They look as if they have a very good working relationship and seem to have a nice friendship, but then so did Anton and Judy Murray.

I love team GG and to me they look like really good friends nothing more, they have a bubby ethusiasm which is charming and genuine, they have become my favourites pairing. I love Giovanni's accent and enjoy seeing them on ITT. I want to see them Gert to the final and hope Giovanni is back next year. Georgia's boyfriend looks very proud of her and supports her all the way.

They look gorgeous together and have good chemistry on the dancefloor, so I can understand how some might speculate that there might be something going on, if they didn't know that Georgia already has a boyfriend. I could imagine Giovanni being interested had she been single - but shes not - and Giovanni seems fine with a friendship - and it appears to be a lovely, comfortable friendship (and as someone else mentioned the three of them seem to get on fine together).

Their twitter background pictures are almost identical in the pose - Georgia has a picture of her boyfriend about to kiss her neck and Giovanni has a picture of him about to kiss Georgias neck But I think Giovanni has put that one up because he looks so hot in it.

They just have great chemistry and a good friendship I'm sure.

As for Giovanni and Jo - I think they'd make a lovely couple. Their dance on Saturday was electric. I like that Giovanni has a connection to one of the Cliftons. I'm hoping it makes it more likely we'll see him again on the show .

I agree with this and think that is all there is to it. I would imagine that having competed professionally for many years Giovanni is used to forming intense but non sexual relationships with women. He has done his best to dampen any speculation about him and Georgia and even stated that he preferred blond haired blue eyed women. I think that a far more likely romance is between Giovanni and Jo Clifton (although Jo has denied that they are a couple).

Whatever the truth I think team GG are a great partnership that are lovely to watch and I really hope they make it to the final. I also hope that Giovanni comes back next year.

Going from their twitter posts it also seems like Jo helped ITT with the surprise video call with his family.
