I like when the celebrities and dancers are not acting awkward with each other only because they are in relationships in their real lives. So if they can instead demonstrate chemistry, that's very much sought after.

Can't see it at all, I'm afraid. They seem to get on perfectly well, but I've not sensed a single whiff of sexual chemistry between then, so I cannot fathom what you're basing your 'suspicions' on.

There is nothing going on and Georgia is an very happy relationship with Sean and Giovanni prefer blondes. I see their relationship as a sister/brother they get on really well.

You mustn't have seen the earlier series of SCD. Dr Pam = Pamela Stephenson (also known as Hamela on account of the 'prayer hands' she did in response to all positive feedback from the judges), who danced with James Jordan a few years back. She was/is a psycho-sexual counsellor who wrote a column for The Guardian during her time in the show, which dwelt heavily on the sexual stirrings that allegedly occurred between all dance partners, and she alluded to an intense sexual sexual attraction for James (with a hint that it might have been reciprocated to a degree).

In context, coppertop's post is not suggesting that a current poster on here alleged that JJ fancied her, it's a good-natured joke about Pamela Stephenson and her sexual analysis of the show. The opening of 'You are Dr Pam and I claim my ten pounds' sets up the joke, but I guess people who only started watching recently - and hence were fortunate enough to be spared her somewhat lurid reflections on the show - wouldn't get those references.

Dr Hamela has passed into legend even among those of us who weren't yet into Strickly at that time thanks to her proliferous output in the newspapers. The name Hamela always makes me think of Miss Piggy and her relentless pursuit of Kermie.
