I have an iPad (what was then referred to as a 'retina view' version) which I use a lot. I like to listen podcasts - but sometimes, when I'm browsing on the internet, while listening to a podcast, the podcast stops playing when I visit certain websites (including Digital Spy, sad to say). I assume it's because embedded media (adverts mostly) starts playing and the podcast pauses.

Is there anything I can do to stop this? It's incredibly irritating and puts me off going to certain websites. Is there anything I can change in my settings to stop this from happening?

If you are using iOS 9 (the latest version) one solution would be to install an ad blockers such as Adblock Plus. I've just tried playing some music and browsing certain offending sites and its fine.
