Every week I think how brilliant they are but get hardly any acknowledgement. At least we get to see them at the beginning. Never did before last year which Im sure Im not the only to feel annoyed about. They make the experience so much better I think by enhancing the dancers.
I also think the guest artist is snubbed a lot when the dancers come on during their song. I cringe when they get huge cheers in the middle of the stars song. I noticed Rod Stewart didnt have them. I find it disrepectfull to the artist.

Some seem to take them for granted but they have a difficult job doing so many new numbers every week. Good to see that Tess now introduces them right at the beginning of the show rather than after the second dance as previous.

With some of the guest singers, any distraction is very welcome.

No disrespect to you lundavra, but I don't think they have a difficult jobe whatsoever.

They are session musicians and to have a gig like Strictly on a BBC show is fabulous.They wouldn't do it if it wasn't economically benefical. It's a steady, prestigious job.

They are fantastic on the whole IMO. They do well each Saturday to belt out each different number. I enjoyed the rendition of "Hello" by one of them last week, so much so I actually didn't pay too much attention to Helen's rumba It was nice to see Giovanni take the time to thank the band on Twitter last week too. Not sure whether the other pro's ever do it but I thought that was thoughtful of him

band and singers are great, especially like the timbre of haley's voice.

i would like to see the guest artists sing with the band rather than with their own kt and set up, that would be an interesting test of musicianship
