Considering the fact that I'd be ecstatic if Katie broke the 30 barrier with a Latin, if she actually gets even one 9 I may very well pass out.

Surprised how low people judge Helen (some not all) and how high they rate Jay.... Slightly tunnelled vision.

Aljaz is a brilliant ballroom dancer and think he will test Helen with this routine.

Georgia and Giovanni this week for me! 40?

While I think the real reason is somewhat different, I do believe that it might depend on her nerves. If those hold and she executes those heal leads well, then it might be 36 minimum (however, if she doesn't then a repeat of the rumba is possibe).

That seems a bit high, though I do wonder if they will compare it (unfavourable?) to Peter's Charleston.

In any case, I hope that we get to see Helen, Jay and Katie do the Charleston to even the odds (it's a easy audience points scoring dance; might shift the momentum in one of the next weeks).

Like to change my scores
1) Georgia & Giovanni 9,10,10,10 = 39 (overmarked)
2) Jay & Aliona 9,9,9,10 = 37
3) Helen & Aljaz 9,9,9,9 = 36
4) Kellie & Kevin 8,9,9,9 = 34 (overmarked to save her being in the B2 again)
5) Anita & Gleb 8,8,8,8 = 32
6) Peter & Janette 7,8,8,8 = 31
8) Katie and Anton 6,7,7,7 = 27
9) Jamelia and Tristan 6,7,7,6 = 26

I probably got this thread all wrong. I thought we're supposed to predict how the judges would score each couple with the assumption that they will all do well.

I understand the point about possible over-marking to save Kellie from the bottom two, but what is the reason for predicting over-marking for Georgia in advance of seeing her or the others dance? Is Georgia in trouble with the voting public? Is their Charleston looking bad in training? Is she wearing a shade of beige or sludge-green again??

Really curious why

No she looks good from training I just think most Charlestons are overmarked and it is an easier dance to score well.

Well, then some people are not good at predicting it on that level. For instance, Bruno has never scored Helen below an 8 and Craig has not done so since week 2 (yet, some people think she will score a 7 from one of them).
