Vodafone Smart Ultra 6, price and what package?
I'm looking at the Vodafone Smart Ultra 6, as the reviews I've seen say it's the best one around for the price (£115 at time of typing). It will be for a friend, though I may get myself one too.
I was wondering, are prices likely to come down after Christmas/New Year? I can wait a bit if that's at all likely? Also, tariff's... there seems to be a few around that are the £5/month price range, and that would be adequate for her's and my use. But who to go with? I don't have any idea who's best or who to avoid. The phone can be unlocked for a couple quid apparently. She's a smart phone virgin, and my current one's an antiquated Firefox OS phone, better as an alarm clock than a phone (thus the no idea on current packages). |

I'd say it'll stay around the same price until Christmas (possible drop to £100 for Black Friday) and then when a successor is released it will be discounted or discontinued.
I'd like to see more networks following Vodafone and Three's lead and either rebadge or launch Chinese phones here. I have an Ultra 6 and it's fantastic. |

Worth checking if you or anybody you know works for a company that gets a discount through Vodafone (I know the NHS do).
You will be able to get a good discount on a contract and I think maybe even SIM free phones as well? I am able to get 20% discount through the company I work (although I'm with Three now as Vodafone messed me about and I don't rate their network the places I usually go). |

Price has dropped to £100.
The ZTE F320 I pointed out to someone looking for a cheap basic emergency phone was £20 for months then this week I noticed they dropped the price to £15 earlier this week but today it’s back at £20. |

That’s an amazing price for that phone but if you need one I’d get in fast as they appear to be changing their prices when the wind changes.

I would have been tempted, but have my S5 back now (all help to the people at the Samsung repair centre in Wembley). They were great and had my phone repaired within 2 hours (more than I can say for the Romford branch, but will open a different thread ref that). |

I got in quick and bought one at £100, though knowing my luck it'll probably be £90 in a couple of weeks!
Just need to figure out tariff's and stuff now. |
