I enjoy it so much more this year! Dara irritated me greatly - he just hogged the screen and barely involved the candidate. Jack asks what I want to hear answered and I much prefer his less frenetic style. I'm entirely happy with the set and find Romesh quite amusing at times now.
I didn't like Dara because he insisted on having his mates from Mock the Week on the show. Plus some times I had problems understanding what he says as he talks too fast at times.

I don't particularly like Romesh, I don't find him funny at all & he's even more miserable than Jack (didn't think that would be possible)

IMO the perfect host for You're Fired is Victoria Coren Mitchell. She is very intelligent, quick witted & is able to think on her feet when things don't go to plan. Victoria is very funny when she needs to be but can also play it straight
Jack Dee is doing just fine.
The problem is their insistence on having Romesh on every single show and even giving him his own spot which isn't very funny.

I'd rather see different new guests each week to keep the panel fresh.
Nothing wrong with having guests who pop up in more than one episode, but Ramesh taking up a chair every single week deprives us of having a different face on the panel.
Dara no, as above. Jack actually OK, as above. Romesh no, as above. Victoria? Not sure but could be alright. Jack has settled a bit so he could be enough, just have different guests each show.

While Dara was poor and needed replacing , Jack Dee is just 'hard to watch ' ...whilst Romesh simply isn't funny in this setting - and from his demeanour I think he increasingly realises this himself.

What I want to know is -
.....who thought Jack and Romesh would be good hosts for this show,
.....what drugs were they taking that made them think that this was a good idea ??
.... and where can I get some - because it must be some pretty good stuff !!!

I guess it depends on your sense of humour. I don't think Jack Dee brings enough to the table. I find Romesh really funny, and like his little sketches. He offers insightful comment and binds the show together. He'd probably be better in Jack Dee's role, to make room for more varied guests. I think the set is horrible - it makes everyone look isolated and squeezed into a dark hole somehow, rather than a big bright interactive forum. The way they're filming it doesn't help.

Dara was brilliant on you're fired and I think he is missed. I love jack Dee but I just think he is wrong for this show. Simon Austell would have been brilliant at poking fun at the contestants in a light hearted way whilst interviewing and talking to the panel.

I agree about Jack Dee but disagree about Ramesh, his skits are just time fillers and a lot of what he says is pretty pointless and unfunny. They were fairly useless with Scott this week and appeared to have no idea what to do/what was going on - just as if he had really left a few hours before. The whole thing is pretty rubbish IMHO.
