Josh - BBC3
I saw the pilot and it was ok. It had promise.
It now has a series on BBC3 Wednesdays at 10:30pm. Josh Widdecombe is the lead. Jack Dee returns. Jennifer Saunders makes an appearance at some point which is quite a coup. I wonder if it's got something to do with her daughter also starring in it ![]() http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06pgyg8 |

Bit crap, some of the comedy on BBC3 seems to be a bit sameish these days.

Typical twee middle class comedy fodder a la "Together" but without the inbred toffs.

Undemanding, light and fluffy comedy, bit predictable but nicely done and, for me, enough laughs to warrant another look next week. |

I'll probably watch it again as I really like Josh and Jack Dee.......but it was a bit weak
the whole 'kissing' storyline looked like it was put in for any 14 year olds who might have been watching........

Nowhere near as good as people just do nothing (a truly great comedy) but it was alright. I will be back next week but I wouldn't say im looking forward to it.

Weird show. There's no flow to it at all and what an idiotic decision to have Dee in a supporting role like that.

I like Josh Widdecombe and think he works well with his male co-star (the one that isn't Jack Dee) in this. The girl isn't as good. It's good enough for me to give it another go. I don't know how it compares with other BBC Three comedies as the trailers usually put me off them.

I love Josh, infact I went to see him on Friday and he was brilliant. I also like Elis James, saw him support Rhod Gilbert many years ago, but this wasn't very good at all.

He's a reasonably funny chap on panel shows but he really couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.

She may be the daughter of two comedians but the female lead doesn't show any comedic ability to me.
The whole show is pretty dull and unfunny though. |

I thought it was better this week
Though the main storyline of the girl who wanted to be caught by her Dad and get his attention was a bit drawn out........how thick was Josh not realising what was going on ? Or is it just the promise of leg-over makes the brains exit stage left. The storyline with Jennifer was quite good with Jack Dee and the flatmate buzzing around her Jack Dee doesn't half do 'creepy' very well.........

Better this week, much better. The acting is pretty poor, especially the female lead.

I think Beattie Edmonson's a bit better in this than in whatever I saw her in previously.
![]() about a 'Health & Safety' twunt that has, hopefully, ended Ben Elton's sitcom-writing career forever (and not a moment too soon!), you may be right

It's ok.
This week's episode was quite good, probably the best one. Jennifer Saunders was great in it, as was Jack Dee in his small role. Jack Dee should definitely have a bigger role, I really don't understand having him such a tiny role in the show. As others have noted, the female lead really lets it down. She just isn't funny at all, despite having some good lines. A funnier female lead and it could actually be a really good little sitcom. |

It's not the best sitcom I've seen, but it's okay.
It reminds me a bit of Man Down, the Greg Davies sitcom. It could be the music ! |

I wasn't going to watch it again but randomly caught it's late night repeat. Thought the second episode was significantly better than the first.
