Should Neighbours reinstate this excellent piece of incidental music? Maybe EE use it
Just watch each clip for 20-30 seconds and see how it works. In the early 90s it was used for drama, and in the 00's for comedy. Which do you think it works best with? Should they reinstate it? and could ee use it? The Shirley / Mick / cat scenes would have been good with it

Ahhh the "jaws" music I called it. Always thought it was really cringe to be honest. Even when it was used in the 90s I thought it was supposed to be funny.
I think the late 90s was the best incidental music they had on Neighbours, like the sad piece when Helen died, the suspenseful piece when Debbie was being held in the Coffee Shop by a weird guy, or the soft piano piece that was used for tender/reflective moments. There were also good pieces in the early 00s like around Madge's death and this dramatic piece (although it was rather over-used): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2jjRI8CkUM |
