Bloody boat
I thought Elle was really lovely on YF, she seemed to have a lot of self humour and I loved how she bowed out without snidy comments about others. She was one of really very few where at least you can identify yourself with in that situation.
And Bloody boat is one of the funniest remarks in the content it was filmed within |

She did come across as a nice person, perhaps to nice, always ready to take the blame, and never really blamed others.
And she highlighted further inconsistencies with the show, had she not let Joe " do his thing" she would of been blamed for not allowing the people with talent "do their thing" seems you can't win |

We would have seen Sugar criticising him more for not clarifying the details of the job required by the football club (i.e. the chewing gum). He would probably have come under fire for overpricing the theatre job (although it's arguable whether he did anything more than make a fair quote for a professional job). And Sugar would probably have had a go at him for not making any money on day 1 (although, again, you can argue that this was actually a good move). Funny thing, editing. By its own definition, it means we are only shown a selection of what actually happened. |

^^ spot on, the Theatre bloke was taking the p*ss with his £325. If that's what he wants to spend, why not bloody say it and stop all the time wasting. If I have a customer who needs a particular print job, I can gauge wether their serious or just collecting quotes, I will often ask "you tell me how much you want to spend, and I'll tell you what you can and can't get for that".

Yeah she seems genuinely a very nice person
Probably a little too nice for something like this as said above! She was well out of her depth this week unfortunately, I'd believe her when she said the minute she got made PM she thought she'd be fired! She doesn't have the unshakeable confidence of some others Most of the genuinely nice ones have been fired- herself, Natalie, Ruth, Dan, Mergim, although Scott and Sam seem very nice also. It's not a personality competition however! |

Having now watched YF, I think it's just reinforced by opinion of Elle. Nice enough girl. Very naive in terms of her business experience and how to deal with people. Completely out of her depth in the shark tank that is The Apprentice.
Similar to Mergim, really, who I admired for his graft and his sense of humour but seemed to be rather lacking in terms of both intelligence and genuine business experience. Beyond all the effort and the ambitin - both laudable - he had an eye for an opportunity but there wasn't really that much there in terms of business acumen or common sense. I know April got blasted for her terrible pricing, but surely Mergim as sub-team leader (or Elle asd PM) should have set the strategy there rather than leave a team member to make a terrible decision on the spot? |
