Saw that last week or so, total BS. Their source claims the reunion isn't happening because Slash and Axl have commitments with their current bands they want done.

Slash has no commitments as his tour with Myles and the Conspirators ended a few weeks back, they ARE set to record an album in April, however, the rest of the time Myles will be off with his band Alter Bridge, so album aside that solo outing will be inactive next year.

As for Axl, he got rid of half of the "nu" GNR already. Both DJ Ashba and Bumblefoot have left the band and moved on - Ashba to Sixx Am who are touring all year, Bumblefoot to his own solo outings and strong rumours say the bassist of the new line-up has also been let go, rendering half the band gone.

What I HAVE heard though is GNR aren't likely to announce until January now though - supposedly they're headlining Coachella 2016 and contractual obligations with that festival means they're not allowed to announce any reunion news until mid January

Got a few updates on this:

Recent Star Wars The Force Awakens showings have had various brief clips of a crowd in black and white as "Welcome to the Jungle" plays, which is all that "ad" shows

Guns N Roses have updated their facebook profile picture and cover picture to show this crowd too, leaving behind pics of the old "new" line up

Guns N Roses website has been updated to show their classic logo, which hasn't been used officially since Slash left the band in 1994.

Coachella is heavily rumoured to be the reason for the delay in announcement. Coachella is expected to make an announcement on January 5th, so expect news then, with a major outdoor London show due to be announced.

Maybe the elusive new album will be released. They can't keep touring with old material.

This happy bunny will be going to see them live when and if this is announced.

They can and (probably) will. Wouldn't be surprised if the reunion tour was their first album in full as that's got it's 30th anniversary coming up.

I don't think anyone is under any illusions (see what I did there? ) that a reunion tour would be the ultimate rock n' roll nostalgia gig. I don't think there is necessarily any appetite () for new material from the original line-up, especially considering the different paths they all took musically since the split.

Really disappointed in Slash.

Official!!: Guns N Roses are reuniting and their first performance together will in fact be on Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday January 6th 2015.

The line up for this generation of GNR are: Axl Rose (full time member), Duff McKagan (classic member), Slash (classic member), Richard Fortus (modern member), Dizzy Reed (classic/modern member) and Frank Ferrer (modern member).

The band will also be headlining both renditions of the Coachella festival in April before heading over to the UK and Europe to perform at a variety of festivals and one off gigs (and it is heavily rumoured that AEG have thrown as much money as they possibly can their way to get them booked for British Summer Time Festival).

Following on from the European dates the band will return to the USA for a run of roughly 25 stadium dates late in the summer.

I am very much over the moon with that Here's hoping that Jimmy Kimmel performance is good, it really is all down to Axl's voice on that particular night honestly.

£180 for a top price seat? That's not that outrageous when you look at what other artists charge.

Download Festival organisers must be kicking themselves with filling their headline positions so far in advance - bugs me when they do that! They've missed out on an incredible opportunity here now
