So now Robert knows Aaron didn't shoot him and Aaron is getting out of jail, but Ross is still walking around free. Is Kate Oates gonna let her favorite character get away with this?

Lately Ross has been getting away with too much I think its time to reign him in and pay for one of his crimes.

Ross is ruining emmerdale for me lately, he's a cartoon character not to dissimilar to cabin who has to win every fight, every girl and just pretty much every scenario no matter how implausible. I hope the new producer gets rid of him.

Rob should stick that big piece of wood he was carrying last night, up Ross' @R$£!

That'll teach him

Even though he is doing my head in at the moment, I don't want the new producer to get rid of him but to fix him instead. KO has ruined him lately. And yes, he needs to pay for his crimes

I don't think Aaron would appreciate Robert using his wood on someone else

I don't think they should get rid of him, the new producer just needs to reign Ross in and not have him involved in every story and getting away with everything.

Well how can he pay for his crimes, he's done enough for several life sentences, being beaten up is not enough, he will end up dragging down other good charcther just so he is made to look "alpha". Eastenders does the same with phil

Probably not, given he's KO's golden boy, and she hasn't bothered making Robert or Aaron pay for their crimes, so really why should Ross be any different? Hopefully the new producer will get rid of all three, their all carbon copies of each other anyway and three unpleasant, violent, self centred criminals in such a tiny village is overkill.

Agree wholeheartedly with this. But a least Robert is potrayed as a cowardly weasel And Aaron as weak and self pitying. Ross is suppose to potrayed as a cool badass when he's every bit as snidely and cowardly as the other 2. He beats defenceless old men, how come Lawrence has just let it go now he knows Ross hit him on the back of the head with a cosh?

Ross needs to get his comeuppance, definitely, but I don't think he should leave unless the actor wants out. I want them to redeem him, and for goodness sake get him away from Demon Debbeh.

The level of commeuppance needed for Ross and Robert is death or jail, not one bad thing happen to them they struggle for a few months then live on happily

Both still have a huge fanbase, and the new producer is from Hollyoaks, so don't get your hopes up.

I won't be, I only watch now for a handful of charcthers, but even if they came from towie I doubt they could get trashier and more sensationalist then Kate Oates, maybe carry on but I don't believe it's possible to sink lower

Robert and Aaron have at least had some form of comeuppance, Robert being shot and Aaron spending time in jail where as Ross has had nothing happen to him.

To be fair, he was knocked out and left down a ditch, but that didn't seem to make him any nicer

Right, it actually made him worse and for some reason he thought Pete had no reason to do that even though he had been smashing Pete's fiance for months.

Yes Ross is still walking around free and so is nearly every other character on the show. If they aren't going to punish Robert or Aaron or Cain or Pete or Andy or Jai or whoever else you want to add to the list then why should it be different for Ross? You say Robert sort of got comeuppance as he was shot and Aaron spent a little time in Jail. Did I just dream Ross getting beat up and left for dead in a silly grave?

They need to tone him down a bit I agree. Some more scenes with Finn and maybe a more sensitive story which would show a different side to him. We know he can do bad but what about something else. The thing is no doubt Aaron or Robert will be asking him for some help down the line with something dodgy. It doesn't help he hasn't really any mates either. I think when Debbie leaves they will have to focus on him with other characters, which isn't a bad thing

Can't wait until Debbie leaves, she completely ruined Ross as a character. I agree that Ross should be toned down, I'd like him to focus on his son and not just use him for Brownie points after he's done something bad.

I agree, I'm also holding out hope that Ross isn't Moses' father that whole thing was so stupid and clearly a last minute write in.

I'm pretty sure he is the father. KO probably wanted to carry on the legacy of Ross and couldn't be bothered to have him get Debbie pregnant and wait another 9 months so she just decided "Surprise baby!" Can't see it being Declans (a return from him after that exit would be crazy) and Jai already has the baby storyline with Megan.

Still, a twist where it turned out to Lachlan's or Robert's would be interesting.

From the beginning I had thought Moses isn't Charity's baby and she faked a pregnancy and used another inmates baby as Moses.

That would be crazy. I do think Moses is Charity's kid though, I don't believe that Charity could fake a labour without the nurses noticing, and how would they smuggle the other baby into the hospital to make it look like Charity had given birth to him? Wouldn't make sense.
