Welcome everyone, to the first live show of The Chance Factor 4!

It feels like ages ago that the judges were revealed and picked their acts, but it's really only been eight days. Now, after a week of hard work, the acts will go head-to-head for the first time, battling it out for your votes in a bid to stay in the competition. Eight enter tonight, but only seven will leave after tonight's Launch Party. Are you ready to face the music?

Please welcome your judges and the Chance Factor top 8, preferably while listening to this week's intro tune.

I like how 3 of the judges were online a few minutes ago and now none of them are.

Stage fright?

Two out of four plus Jacka's comments, I'll take that. Hopefully Jack will get here soon and catch up.

Alright, let's get this show on the road then. Kicking off the series in style with a powerful song, it's the four sisters of 4th Impact!

4th Impact

Yes ladies!! This is exactly what I wanted to show off from you tonight, you're sassy, you're professional and you have some killer voices! I can't wait to keep working with you throughout the competition!

4th Impact:- That performance was cool and current! I could imagine you all doing this song. It was energetic and worked to your strengths which is your stage presence. What i want to see is your mentor bring out individuality into each member of the group. That was a terrific start though!

4th Impact - What a great start to the live shows! I love the song, I think it suits you all very well and the vocals were on point. Your mentor has done a great job and keep on doing this because you are a great asset. As a launch song, this is perfect - it screams you as an act, and I can see yourselves releasing a song like this for sure.

Wow, what an amazing opening from 4th Impact there. Some incredible comments too, I bet their mentor will be pleased. On a side note, Jack is online so I expect him to catch up very soon.

Meanwhile, the show must go on. Showing that 'festive' doesn't necessarily mean 'dance', it's Paul Akister.

Paul Akister

Paul, this was actually an amazing performance! A pretty perfect song for you, I'm really impressed! Keep bringing that every week and you'll be here for a long while yet!

Paul Akister - A great performance Paul! This song is great for you - it was smooth and vocally brilliant. It showcases you as an artist beautifully! I think the end of the song really showed off your vocals with the uptempo theme. The song builds up for you to actually nail it and progess in terms of your vocals. It was a risk choosing this song but I think you have done extremely well!

Paul:- This is a lovely song, a great pop folk track. However is this really the type of record you would release im unsure. The problem i find with you paul is you lack artistic direction and stage presence. This song to me, is just a nice middle of the road track it doesn;t really go anywhere. It didn't show off your soulful vocals, and just looked to me that your mentor doesn't no what to do with you. Sorry you could be in trouble tonight

Two performances in and we can already see who has taken up the 'Simon Cowell' slot on the judging panel. Will the public agree with Barry or did they enjoy the song choice?

Next up, it's the one and only Fleur East doing what she does best.

I disagree immensely. The end of the song allows him progress his vocals to a great finish.

Fleur East

Fleur, a pretty good performance tonight. I'd like to see a little more creativity, maybe a look down some unexplored water but I did really like this as it is. Just something to work on perhaps to go further in the competition. But good work!
Barry_John1

Fleur:- Sassy, Vibrant and energetic these are qualities which make you such a triple threat in the industry! I wanted to show that fun side, and how you can really take a song and make it your own! I want to show many sides of you, and bring some mid 90's RnB back! This was a performance that packed a punch! well done

Fleur East - The standard on this show is sky high! Fleur, that was really good. I loved it and as a launch song, it works! I think your mentor understands you because that was a great performance, albeit a bit predictable. But I'm sure your mentor can work on that in the future.

I really wanted him to come out tonight and bring the energy as I believe he has the best voice in the competition. I big soulful modern track would be awesome!

I just now realized I've missed hosting these shows. Anyway, a great set of starting comments for Fleur, though the word 'predictable' (also known as the p-word) has already been used.

Over to Jack and his girls for the next performance. Singing an absolute classic, it's Jade Ellis.

Jade Ellis - Jade, it was an okay performance, I have to say. It didn't wow me as a launch performance - it seemed more like a bootcamp performance for me. It was quite so and so and I think that it was due to the song choice. The vocals were there in part, but that is it. It felt a bit safe to me personally. I feel for a Launch Party theme, you could have come out swinging with a better song choice.

Jade Ellis

Jade, my feedback would be very similar to Fleur's here. You have a great voice and a good song. If your mentor spends more time searching through for some more undiscovered music then you definitely have the potential to wow everybody every week!

Loved that song choice for 4th Impact, best act so far.

Jade :- this is quite a bland song choice! I have heard this a lot on talent shows. I'm not sure how much effort went into this song choice it bored me a little it suited ur voice I will say that .
