Any confirmation yet as to when Jay was reduced to dissolving into a puddle of snotty tears?

BTW I may be one of those 'older ladies' that actually looks forward to watching Jay dance every week I think he's great but worry he may have already reached his peak.
I haven't voted for anyone yet. I think I will wait until Blackpool.”

I don't think that's controversial at all. I think Georgia is in with a very good chance of winning. I do find her slightly bland, but she seems nice enough and she's a more than competent dancer who seems to be getting better every week.

Yes indeed and others I didn't even named but some fms did
I like to see how strictly contestants are doing outside of DS so I tend to look at stuff like that ; just trying to gauge their popularity and I can't recall the last time a contestant had that much public support. ..maybe since Kara Tointon ? Or Harry ? But then again with these 2, Matt Baker and Chelsee Healey were not too far behind them but in this case Jay is wayyyy ahead of everyone else in terms of popularity . I don't want to sound presumptuous but I'm fairly confident on him making the finale and Win ( knock on wood).

Once he does that jive in the finals ? It's over.

Editing to add that this is merely an opinion and I could be wrong. I don't think I will be though

Not yet, but I know that we are all waiting in eager anticipation for confirmation of this latest piece of fantasy from a certain WUM.

Obviously as we lose people, some of the votes usually given to them will switch to others. That could change things. I think Georgia is Jay's main competition and poss Katie if it really is the year of Anton. I wouldn't rule Jeremy out either. Or Helen/Anita.
I don't think Kellie or Jamelia will get to the final although judges would prob save Kellie so she could well do. Same goes for Peter.

what a shame they made a mistake , not one of their golden dances ,

golden couple though , pawing each other like the lions of Longleat

It was a gorgeous gorgeous foxtrot. Forgetting the mistake, it should've been a 10. He is too good not to get a 10. Craig is so so cranky tonight.

Craig was extremely harsh with his scoring.

You could tell Len would've given it a 10 without the mistake. He didn't even want to hold up the paddle.

Totally agree, he was marked down, not only by Craig, who was ridiculous. Craig has his favourites and jay isnt one of them.

Same here, Georgia is my fave by far and I want her to win but if Jay wins then I won't be wailing at the injustice

I do feel Craig was very harsh with the score he gave Jay tonight. Does anyone else agree? He may have made a mistake but their performance merited more than a six.

Her performance just now made Jay looked amauterish in fairness.

She is not just improving, she is brilliant. Ten's also from the judges!

Jay could be in trouble this week.

I know, I'm worried. He desperately needs a 'fun dance' next week to bring out his lighter side. He seems to have done all the serious dances one after the other.

Unless he was up against Jamelia or Jeremy we could still see a shock exit.

BIB Yes, I am so sick of it . Since the jive : QS, PASO, AS/foxtrot , AT, now Foxtrot......so many serious/slow dances ......I am hoping for a Party Latin next week.

On the bright side , the fact that he has a lot of crowd pleasing and FUN dances left is a good thing.

lovely dance though it definitely felt more like an american smooth, but i could see he is trying to improve his performance. he's much better in rehearsals something about it just goes a bit distant in the show.

He tripped .. it was no more of a blip than Georgia had last week!

Even with the mistake this was my second favourite dance, after Georgia and Giovanni, who I love, love, LOVED. Jay is so expressive through the body. Choreography was beautiful too -- kind of asymmetric in a balanced way, if that makes sense. The spinny bits, I mean. Created an unusual shape. Craig was a tad harsh but probably scripted

I doubt it. He's far too popular.
