More time to plan her tacky and increasingly desperate calendars.
And more time for James to pimp her body.

I think the appropriate phrase might be, "jumped before she was pushed" .
I was one of her greatest fans , but the whole Jordan experience has soured over the past couple of years.
The quicker they fade into oblivion , the better.

She was in some pre-recorded Group dances - which is probably why they did not mention her accident on the show.

I can imagine there would have been some penalty clauses kicked in.

Similarly if a pro dancer got injured (dancing injury rather than falling over ski-jumping) they would probably have clauses that they still got paid, and one of the evicted Pro's takes over (Brendan as "superPro a few years back when Robin and Artem got injuries)

I don't think that we will ever truly know.

Cranfield, I couldn't agree more with you on everything you have posted.

they all go at the end of the series so technically they all "quit"

contracts run for one season at a time, no one is on a rolling contract and no one knows if they will be given a contact for the next season

Perhaps he is plotting the sale of an actual exclusive rather than a story fabricated by one dodgy tabloid (or planted on one dodgy tabloid). 'How I saved Ola for Britain and she will take part next year'?

If you've got it, flaunt it

It'll mean nothing if a much-wanted celeb (e.g. Tomasz Schafernaker) says he'll only do it if she is available. She'll be back as if nothing had happened.

You think one celeb weatherman has the power to say who he wants to dance with? No chance. He was almost fired himself a couple of years ago.

I'm amazed she's lasted this long to be honest. She's a mediocre dancer at best, I can't believe they'd let someone like Ivetta go and keep Ola.

Isn't she known for being a bit difficult behind the scenes?

Who? I have no idea who on earth he is, so I doubt he would have much sway at all.

None of the celebs get any say. Pros have left over the years and the audience doesn't much care to be honest and the celebs get who they get.

Maybe if someone like Tom Cruise said only Ola thy may consider it, otherwise no.

Widdy absolutely demanded she get Anton or she wouldn't do the show. She said so herself many times before she was cast, because they were trying to get her for ages.

I'm guessing if the celeb has a real desire to have someone they can possibly get them, depending on how much the Beeb want them and if the pairing will work. Eg it's all very well wanting Natalie but would it happen if you were shorter than her?

I'd be shocked if Peter hadn't asked for Ola as they both did articles prior to the series is saying they wanted eachother. But obv he got Janette so who knows?

I don't think the back is what the punters are interested in.

It seems that all she has done is say that this is her last year on Strictly.
I'm fine with that. I wouldn't have wanted her to quit before the end of the Series as I think the producer took a chance hiring her before she had recovered.

Now that I think about it, Ola hasn't done much since she's been eliminated. Brendan and Oti were doing Children in Need. Natalie and Kristina are helping out on ITT, and so on. So the question is whether Ola was frozen out (and felt she had to go) or had she already stopped co-operating (and was making herself redundant)?
