Bob Dylan's 'Forever Young' is different to Alphaville's song with the same name which is what One Direction recorded so I don't know what that article is talking about. Lol.

Bob Dylan's: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnFAu9cY5y4
This one favors Che, Lauren, Louisa or anyone who can sing a ballad.

Alphaville: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1TcDHrkQYg
Reggie N Bollie or Max could do the reggae-esque version of this song by Mr. Hudson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pneN0M0BWeg

Wow, interesting choice. Pete Seeger's version of this is awesome as well

Wasn't this going to be One Direction's winning single? I see Cowell isn't allowed to touch many songs anymore so is going back to the barrel.

Bob Dylan is one of the greatest songwriters of all time and a lot of the emphasis is on the lyrical content, a karaoke version being screached at eardrum bursting decibels wont do it justice.

Che will probably do the jahmene Douglas version of the song

It's a simple generic tune ripe for runs and riffing and all sorts if you're up to it.

The pretenders also sang the bob dylan version.

Wonder why it's been leaked or revealed so early?

In my humble and long absent opinion, this version by Audre Mae in 2013 would suit Max, Che and the 3 girls because its all about the voice.

Maybe Simon relates to the words now that he is a father?

I heard the original artist had no say on whether X Factor can use their song as a winner's single?

Cannot wait for this! Will be a truly stunning winners single! Probably as successful as hallelujah! Great lyrics! And an added choir will truly enhance it

Copyright law just dictates that a songwriter is paid due royalties from the proceeds of a cover version and that it's credited correctly. They don't need permission.

this sounds terrible.........why are the public still fooled into allowing a cover by someone who wont be around in 18 months steal Xmas number 1 year after year??
