Surely it's more Gotham related, given that that is what she's going to be appearing in?

Each to our own. Perhaps it's an age thing? Personally, I love what they're doing with Gotham. Whereas Arrow failed when they turned it into a soap, and the Flash is just like the A-Team with better effects.

Very pleased for her, I guess the exposure in Doctor Who has helped her profile in the US. She's been living there for several years as her husband/partner is based there & her daughter has a yank accent.

I like Michelle and I think Gotham should suit her.

But it's a great opportunity for someone like her who has never really managed US work like her husband. Playing Missy has obviously opened doors for her.

I think she would be perfect on a show like Penny Dreadful.
