Cs 2016
Where do people see corrie going next year? at the moment it seems in a terrible state and from the announcements a lot of people seem to be going who people like e.g Alison King, Ryan Thomas, Terence Maynard. Also, David Neilson and Brooke Vincent are going temporarily. Simon Gregson isn't well so is off for at least three months. How can Corrie be great again? and what new characters/story lines do people want?

Corrie is in a vegetative state.
Without major rehabilitation, physiotherapy and a miracle, I don't see Coronation Street changing for a long time. There's nothing happening in terms of stories* and the cast as a whole is at its most unlikeable. *aside from the potential that

I think 2016 will see
- An increased focus on the new Connors. Especially once AK goes on her break - The Platts/Callum drama limping on still. David holding it together, Sarah and Kylie falling apart. - Basher Barlow's storyline coming to a climax after he dishes out the fists once too often and Ken calls the police. - Liz cons Tony into signing over his share of the pub to her, then dumps him. |

Boring storylines that seem to never have an end. Average at best ratings. Characters leaving left right & centre. The show is dreadful atm, but it's nothing Kate Oates won't sort out. The woman's a genius and most of her time on Emmerdale has been fantastic. m

I think Corrie proved they have good actors doing the live, they just need creativity and stories of a decent standard |

Absolutely. The live episode also showed what can be achieved when the cast and crew have time to rehearse and prepare.
