i wana know if it goes past ur free txts time of the month as soon as u top up ur fone will u still recieve the 300 free txts.

Your text messages will be restarted on you anniversary date providing you have topped up since your previous one. If you miss your date and top up after, the free texts will restart within 48 hours.

You might find that actually putting the tarriff and network in the post will help people reply!

from what i been told no, its 300 text a month, if you used up all your text within then you will be charged.

I assume this is about O2 Online PAYG.

If you top up by at least £10 you will then get an allowance of either text & media messages or class/text/media messages along with a WAP allowance. In this case it is the text & media messaging allowance.

The time you top up is your "anniversary date" whereby you must top up before the same date the next month to seamlessly continue having your free allowance. If you don't top up before the anniversary date (or around 24 - 48 hours before it) you will lose the free allowance you had which will only be regained by topping up again by £10 or more.

If you run out of your allowance before the next anniversary date your texts/media messages will be charged at the standard rates i.e. 10/12p for text messages and 25p for media messages. If you top up you will still be charged for thses until your next anniversary date. i.e. anniversay date is the second of the month, free texts run out on 21st of month, top up on 23rd, free texts only come back on the second of the next month.

Is there a link on this forum to the "cheat" which means you dont have to topup and you still get your 300 free txts. I used to have this, but unfortunately not anymore.

This claimed cheat no longer works I believe and even when it did, it only worked with some numbers.

The one I saw was to do with changing the date on your phone for a day. I never tried it but can't belive o2 systems are that basic?
