6 million?...I think the previous highest ever one week sales WW was about 3 million. (that's from media.de, I'm not sure of the accuracy of that site though)

Yes, Utada with a shade over 3 million WW (99.99999999999% sold in her home country) so Adele has beaten that with just the US sales. Add in 800k from the UK, 300k from Canada, 300k from Australia, similar number from Germany, 150k from France and we are already up to approx 5 million. It's #1 on iTunes in over 100 countries so I would imagine at least a further 1 million from the rest of the world. 6 million. Bish bash, job done
