So many things don't work or work badly now on DS now it's unreal..
People must be getting sick of it too as there are threads all over the place regarding things and I've noticed a drop off in replies and input on many on the threads I look at. |

Both the main site and forums are killed by insane advertising, so its now mandatory to use an adblock to read DS, which means DS get no income, so they implement even more insane levels of advertising. There are alternatives. |

The site has been a mess since the shoddy "upgrade", there has been a massive list of issues.
* Search - hasn't worked properly for months * Menu - wouldn't expand or expanded under ads * Pages blank - initially people couldn't load pages in the most popular browser, Chrome * Article comments - downgrade in functionality as article comments have gone * Forum size - gone narrower, leading to much more wasted space at the sides * Dead subdomain forums.digitalspy.com - old bookmarks to this told users the domain didn't exist * Cookie notice - required 3rd party cookies enabled to acknowledge even though the message shouldn't need a 3rd party cookie as it is site related * Cut & Paste - users couldn't paste into the title box on new posts, especially on mobile * Login issues - some users experiencing Android login issues |

Will take a look at the think broadband site, there are so many good threads on here with good contributors everything else is a bit thin on the ground.
The latest issue I'm having is everything I type in the reply box takes ages to appear and seems to get screwed up quite a lot, swift keyboard predicted text goes insane too, can never get anything on the black banners to work correctly and the drop down menu in the three lines no longer drops.. 😬 |

Changing to the desktop version, log in then change back to mobile version should work.

I cannot log onto the forums on my phone, but can from the PC I cannot start a thread from the PC or phone I can no longer read any comments from a particular news feature Basically the new design is a mess. Do we know if things are getting sorted??? Strongly thinking of saying goodbye to DS, a site a have used and loved for years!!! |
