I would agree with you there, I don't think there has been a worse episode.

Wrong day, lol. The attacks happened on Friday night, not Saturday!

I was more shocked at last week's episode showing a jet plane being blown out of the sky. That seemed a little too close to the Russian tragedy. Particularly when the bad Zygons were a very thinly-veiled allegory for Islamic State.

This week's episode simply had guns. As did half the movies and drama/action shows on TV yesterday.

No bars, no restaurants, no sports stadiums, nothing French, and no " current" guns used.”

BIB: the space station had a French name, being named after the astronomer Leverrier. Pointing this out is mere pedantry on my part, and in no way represents endorsement of the OP's position.

Pretty much my take. It can be a tricky one though (I believe the 'Robot of Sherwood' edit because of other real life dreadful and inhuman circumstances was right, especially as it was a light hearted episode) and have no idea but strongly suspect that if it was the Zygon story, it would've been pulled. And actually, I would've completely understood that, thinking on. But your fundamental point is right. I too am glad the football is going ahead because of the principal...players and fans of both countries stood shoulder to shoulder.

I turned to the person I was watching with and predicted this thread. While the OP is likely trolling what is sad is that in this day and age there is a CHANCE he/she actually believes the rubbish posted ... and, even worse, that some even agree or "sympathize"

The Paris attacks happened on Friday night, not Saturday night. Get your facts right!

In fact, DS Forum Support could you PLEASE close this thread. Thanks.

It's getting far too silly. The OP is clearly an attention seeking nonce with nothing better to do.

If only the perpetrators had watched 'the Zygon Inversion' the other week they'd have sworn off all violence and conflict.

If you don't want to watch it then buy yourself a remote and change the channel so that the people who do want to, will still be able to. I don't see the need to drag everybody down with you.

Says who ? Me thinks some people read far too much into a simple TV series.

It was very easy to make the analogy, many, many people thought the same (including the writer I suspect).

Though I applaud and agree with your sentiments, the fact is that it can be seen as extremely insensitive and callous to show something in a TV drama which echoes some horrible event in real life. Cancelling the drama, or not showing part of it, is an acceptance of this. This is what happened with the Robin Hood episode last series, when the beheading scene was omitted.

Which has nothing to do with last Saturday's episode, which had nothing in common at all, in any way whatsoever, with the Paris atrocities, so I've no idea what the OP is going on about.

If you're going to pull all shows with guns in you'll be left with a blank screen for much of the time, interspersed with stuff like Strictly Come Baking, and the Great British Dance Factor.

Exactly if we cancel a Dr Who ep everytime something bad in the world happens then we'd only get one or no episodes a year. As we speak someone in the world is dying should we cancel the whole Series out of respect just because the minority says so? No if you don't like it, buy a remote and flip over to Channel 4 or some shit like that.

Did no one notice that the OP has bullshit in it, after what happened in Doctor Who regarding sleep in the eye, the OP should have been pulled by the admins - he's clearly in Morphius. They even have a method for doing so and removing the unarmed poster, who kept going on about how incapable he was of switching channels, just like trolls want to ruin this forum.
