Clearly trying to get some attention on Twitter tonight. Absolute tool!

I'm not sure exactly what Steve said but he sounds like a right pr*ck.

I can see what he means but it's still in poor taste ”

What does he mean? I think Steve is a knob and if he's making a 'joke', its very poor

Yeah that's not funny.

Making Ollys very funny slip up into an unfunny joke takes some doing, but Steve managed it.

He could have used a different analogy other than HIV, idiot

Mr Brookstein needs to listen to the blonde from Frozen and 'Let It Go'.

FACEPALM.

These are the moments when people really should log OUT of social media.

Just read his twitter feed, the stench of bitterness is truly nauseating.

The guy will tweet later that he didn't mean any harm.

He says horrible stuff to get attention and then back tracks saying he didn't mean any harm.

Maybe it's failed as a joke in that it hasn't made anyone laugh but I have no idea what is horrible about it or what is in bad taste about it assuming none of the people involved actually do have HIV

PS He isn't joking about HIV / AIDS. He is using the possible dire diagnosis of that to demonstrate how very, very awfully Olly got things wrong tonight.

I love a good horribly offensive politically incorrect joke, but only when they're funny, this one was just... well, stupid. He could've used any illness and made the same joke, so he chose one that's a soft spot for a lot of people while adding nothing to his joke.. Nice one Steve!

This is so true. When anyone calls him out on it he always responds with ''read my book and you'll understand' or 'you sound like that pervert Max Clifford'.

He really does need to see a therapist.
