hate this, this is not the way to respond, the way to respond is add more dates. By cancelling tours you are letting the terrorists win.

Who he? (googles) Oh well, no great loss.

Interesting bit from Wikipedia

"In May 2015, Gilbert got a tattoo showing his support of the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution"

Not so keen on easy access to guns after all, eh?

He sounds like a prize bellend. He supports the right to free access to guns which makes him pretty despicable and then cancels his tour because of people with guns.

All of you that are offended, did you have tickets? I had tickets, I stand by his decision. His audience attracts a fair amount of americans, why would he potentially jeopardise his audience?
Get over the mock outrage, the dates are postponed, not cancelled, at least not at this point.

Perhaps he could arm the audience just incase? That's the normal 2nd Amendment solution to these things. The U.S. has dozens of mass killings every year, has he cancelled any tours there?

Dozens? so at least 24? Thats not true, also this wasnt a spree killing, this was a planned meticulous slaught of over 120 people.

At least 24? Not true? Try 204. And that was barely half-way through the year.

Those are mass shootings not killings. That said if 80 people were shot in one venue and then 50 were killed within a short distance, yes he would cancel a us gig. Retain your ticket, he will be back.

While I understand why the decision to cancel was made, I have to agree with this. I hate when people who have nothing to do with what has gone wrong are punished for it anyways.

God bless you and Brantley and his fans over there always!!!

So the shooters weren't really trying to kill their targets? That's OK then.

There are dozens of mass killing each year in the U.S., no good trying to deny it.

Gilbert is a prick.

I suppose he's succeeded in getting people (like me) to know of his existence. Problem being he's also at the same time let people like me know he's spineless and doing exactly the thing those evil bar stewards want us to do - run scared....
