Then they could give her the bob wig already used by Anita / Karen / Georgina

On ITT on Wednesday Ian commented in his Warm Up session that Helen appeared to be out-dancing Aljaz when reviewing their training so who knows! I would love to see Helen and Aljaz get 40 points.

I think Denise danced her Charleston better than James.

I suppose it makes sense, as it's the most "stage-schooly" of all the dances.

I think a local vet comes in with some Frontline; they hang it up for a few days and it's good to go.

No but based on the training footage it could be a closely run thing,

What say you??”

dunno...but the 'confetti tens' have started now, so I wouldn't be surprised ......

My perception is that the judges seem to mark more generously at Blackpool. Its as if they get a bit giddy with the location and the sense of occassion. So I think a perfect score tomorow is quite possible.

Eh?

Only 3 dances have received 10s so far.

Georgia and Jay were both deserving of their 10s (Jay should have had more, of course) and whatever people think of Peter - his Charleston was a *wow* dance.

Tonight's group dance is Lindy Hop/Charleston/Authentic Jazz based, and Ryan Francois is at least the co-choreographer on that (he was briefly on ITT last night).

Can't imagine they've taken two Charleston choreographers to Blackpool so it's probably safe to assume that Ryan has also choreo'd Helen and Aljaz's Charleston (outside choreographers go to the camera run on a Friday in case last minute changes need to be made as they adjust from dance studio to TV studio).

This is good news for me, as Ryan's routine's are usually my favourite, but they don't always seem such a hit with non-swing dancers - for example - Patrick and Anya's, which received high scores from the judges, not much remembered on here (even though it was significantly more complex than Sophie's in the same series).

However - this season, almost all of the Charleston's have been choreo'd by Ryan's former partner, Jenny Thomas - so Helen and Aljaz should stand out as different to what we've seen in recent weeks, at least.

Whether a similarly themed group dance will help or hinder with votes who can say?

They probably do have an advantage in not having to rehearse two totally disparate styles this week - I'm actually pretty excited for this routine, and really hope it's a cracker (and has good, appropriate music)!

If she gets it right, and the choreo is good, she can beat them. Helen is the better dancer - despite the daft comments about her ballet training (made by people who clearly have never done ballet and don't understand it )

Georgia is cute but she makes too many mistakes and her feet are still messy - as evidenced by her training videos this week.

She never closes her feet properly and still does not stretch her legs either, but her top line is good and she is gorgeous, so maybe it simply won't matter to her fans.

I love Ryan and I love his work. Was so pleased to see him involved, particularly with the ghastly Jason much in evidence. Love Jenny's work too.

I always heave a sigh of relief when they get decent choreographers and dancers in to help. Pointless to expect ballroom dancers to even understand these alternative dances - i.e. salsa, AT and Charleston/Swing.

And why should they?

Admittedly the routine wasn't executed brilliantly, but I think with that unspectacular choreography it never had a chance of beating GG's.

I think everyone was expecting an icy cool Sophie Charleston but instead Helen suddenly transformed into a large frilly-knickered doll with a painted smile. So disappointed. The pitfalls of 'performing' as opposed to just dancing

I was not disappointed with the frilly-Knickered doll look.
