This weekend's guest performers
Gravitational
18-11-2015
This weekend, we’ve got a treat in store, with a bumper load of guest performers set to take to The X Factor stage...

On Saturday, Ed Sheeran will make his return after singing with last year’s champion Ben Haenow, this time joined by pals Rudimental to perform their track, Lay It All On Me.

Sunday’s Results Show sees previous contestant Olly Murs taking a break from his hosting duties to perform his latest track Kiss Me.

And, if all that wasn’t enough, former The Wanted singer Nathan Sykes is also set to take to the stage with his solo single Over And Over Again.

Last weekends guests were desperate, and i am not really impressed by this weekends either. I would much rather see someone like Chic.

Nathan sykes, no offence to him as quite liked his debut solo effort but is he the most bargain basement guest performer they've ever had

Really going overboard with the A list singers this season.

Halfway through his performance he's going to reveal the winner of the X Factor 2015.

Lonnie Liston Smith, Omar Lye Fook, The Stylistics and Talib Kweli are all gigging in London this week. Couldn't one of them have been a guest star instead?

I really like Lay It All On Me actually so if it gives the song a boost then that's a good thing imo.

Kiss Me is not that bad either. I think Olly performing this weekend would have a better response if he wasn't also presenting the show.

...and they've got John Legend performing All Of Me.

When will Rita Ora be performing a mash up of Coming Home and Body On Me? Oops!!!

I can't even get excited about Olly this year. ...not unlike the good old days! !!! He has become the ' joke act' instead....even more so than the presumed act R and B!!!!@

Lol, that is a pretty poor line up of guests. Nathan Sykes, they must have been short and rang someone who had nothing else on and could be there in 10 minutes.

At this rate, next week's guests: The Minions promoting their DVD.

Nathan Sykes is terrible but there is an age old agreement - he's managed by Global which has links to Capital radio. By XF promoting their artists, Capital supports XF alumni. At least that used to be the case...

Whatever happened to Beyonce, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Xtina - scraping the barrel this year...

They used to have such amazing guest performers!

Little Mix, 1D & Ellie Goulding have been the only big names they've had so far.

Olly is huge in the UK but he's the host, so seeing him every week anyway - doesn't feel that exciting and Nathan Sykes?!?!?

Why not just have Ed on after Olly on the Sunday.....would at least feel a BIT better!

I guess they can't afford big names anymore

I think it's called diminishing returns.

X Factor made bucketloads in 2009, so they could afford Rihanna in 2010.

Since then each year they've clearly made less money. Revenue in 2011 was so bad that in 2012 Nicole Scherzinger had to perform twice. (it was also part of the contract I suspect too so... ).

Anyone would think X Factor made a loss in 2014 are are having to recoup the costs this year.

Well, Ed Sheeran is not a bad guest. He is not my cup of tea but he is quite big worldwide. Olly is big in the UK, but people are right, seeing him everyday gives little emotion to it. The rest yes, they are quite unknown.

Maybe if Simon begs like there is no tomorrow, he can get Queen Adele to sing with one of the finalists.

To be fair to Nathan his song has just come out and is currently at 17 on iTunes. I suspect after Sunday that will go into the top 10 maybe top 5. So maybe he has a place on the show?

to be fair, they havemt performed yet, so dont judge early xD
i like the songs tbh..
the only problem is it isnt a big name

but i would rather have those without big name but awesome performance
rather than a big name with awful performance ex: Ellie w/ On My Mind also Last year Megan Trainor w/ All about that bass, etc
