She's not a character who immediately draws you in as a personality but she's not unlikeable!

I don't find her unlikeable. I just find myself being fairly indifferent to her. I appreciate she can hit some notes, and then some other notes, but I don't find sheer range exciting in itself.

As others have said she doesn't connect with the songs, or, if she does, she doesn't manage to communicate that. I feel like I'm being demonstrated at rather than sung to and that's frankly rather dull.

I think she's very unlikeable. She comes across as very cold to me.

If she has no personality and can't sell herself she won't go far. It takes so much more to make it in the industry than just a decent voice.
Leona was boring as watching paint dry personality wise and it didn't harm her career

That's not really true is it? I mean, her sales have shown a significant decline since that first album. Who knows where she might be if she had some charisma to go with the voice.

I don't like her at all and I really can't put my finger on why.

She reminds me of those kids that were in it a few years back - can't think of their names but they were 2 girls and 2 boys that got to the finals. Always this fake enthusiasm and that awful ways of speaking "having SOOOOOOOO murrrrrrch faaaaaahn" and "thank every one SOOOOOOO murrrrrrch". Very irritating.

Her singing is quite good but I think it is her looks that have got her noticed and carried her to this stage in XF. She is beautiful - like a less skinny Cressida Bonas.

I don't think she's the best singer and I find her unlikeable. So no doubt she'll be the winner!

Something about her doesn't connect with me, but is it just me? What is it about her that isn't connecting?

I personally always get a sense of "not-genuine" when she's on the screen and I ask myself why she is on the X Factor, as a young, pretty schoolgirl with a good voice probably doesn't need any extra help to get into music, does she?

What does anyone else think?
I completely agree with you OP. I think she has a good voice but there is something about her that I'm not warming to.

Not dislikeable just a bit meh. There doesn't seem to be anything about her.

As a note of caution, I think we have to be weary of a person's real personality & the one the show allows us to see.

I feel a full Ella Henderson moment coming up.

Ella was constantly pimped as an amazing talent but made no connection with the audience as there was no personality coming through. Her votes slipped week on week until she hit bottom 2.

James Arthur was constantly referred to a "Mr Sexy" and a "heart-throb" by Nicole. Yet he was also struggling in the votes.

Chris Maloney was running away with the competition despite being treated like a pantomime villain.

Once Ella & James hit B2, it allowed the show to dump her knowing she was already signing up to Syco for a post show career.
Tulisa had her faux "It's the public's fault" rant, telling everyone to vote for James Arthur. And the rest is history.

So Louisa, like Ella, is getting the full "star without personality" treatment. Which means a couple of dodgy vocal performances will drop her into the bottom two.

We found out on Saturday the Rita, Cheryl & Simon all suddenly have a crush on "super sexy Che".

Could we have a similar moment this year, with Rita Ora playing the "Tulisa" role?

Or maybe they use a bottom 2 position to push Louisa to the win?

Either way, someone spent a lot of money syncing all her social media to have the same name. Buying out the @Louisa Twitter name does not come cheap and there are rumours that she has already agreed a post show contract with Syco.
It was reported here that SC signed her after the audition.

If you watch that first audition you can see the exact moment SC fell in love with her and you can see the pound signs in his eyes.

And it's not the fake suprise at the beginning of the song, it's half way through when he covers his microphone.

She's talented, really talented and I would be very surprised if she wasn't head hunted for the show. There's quite a few videos on You Tube and she has been treading the boards for a while which considering her age, is unusual.

I find her shyness far more likeable than Lauren's ott ' i'm famous now, look at me etc etc' far more appealing but different strokes i guess
I agree with this ..

I like Louisa and had her down as my winner from her first Audition

Lauren on the other hand just gets right on my wick for some reason and there's something about her her I just can't take to

She's way, way overrated. Go to a decent open mic night and you'll see 17 year olds better than her. She's decent in the X Factor world but that's as far as it goes.

No one is going to be the finished article at Louisa's age, and of course she has lots to learn, but everything is there in place for her to go on and do really well providing she has the right people behind her.
Exactly her time on the XF is about is building the experience she needs to go on and do well she has the talent as that's abundantly clear she just ne3eds some more confidence and experience to show it to reach her fu8ll potential. and after toni8ghts performance I think she's a lot closer to her dream than a lot of her competitors as I felt she was outstanding. I didn't know the sonmg but I definitely was impressed by the way she performed tonight

Never liked singers who lift their fingers holding the microphone. It is random, not to any beat and done to pretend that they are like Whitney Houston. Its fake and unnecessary. Louisa has got that lift fingers disease in a big way. Too bloody annoying.

Same here. Lauren gets on my nerves too and her voice is not half as good as Louisa's.

She leaves me cold, I'm afraid. Just one of the crowd as far as I am concerned.

She cheated tonight by not singing anywhere near the stage throughout her performance.

The girl can sing and she's not being horrible or big headed so what's the problem. Leona had great success but only came to life when she actually sang and was not at ease with the rest of it. I don't get the "unlikeable" thing
