Is Clara leaving this Saturday? (Contains spoilers)
I have been reading the BBC spoilers for Doctor Who and it looks like Clara is leaving this Saturday? The upcoming 2 part finale episodes are about the Doctor and Gallifrey.
Do you think Clara leaves this Saturday? |

An interview with Peter Capaldi confirms this as well -
Peter Capaldi has teased Jenna Coleman's upcoming Doctor Who exit - and it looks like it's coming this weekend. The actor said fans should expect an upsetting end for Clara Oswald, the Doctor's companion, and suggested it will be a permanent departure. Speaking about this Saturday's episode 'Face the Raven' on The Graham Norton Show, Capaldi said: "It's a sad one, gripping and very strange. "And it's the end of the line for Clara Oswald played by Jenna Coleman, who's been my companion for the last two years. "It's the end of her story. I don't want to go into the details of it, but it's sad." When asked if Clara could come back, Capaldi answered: "Sometimes people can't come back. Sometimes things happen that they can't come back from." http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/doctor-...ant-come-back/ So we can only assume that it is this weekend however I am not so sure |

I wonder if this is going to be a "death" which turns out to be nothing more serious than Clara never being able to see the Doctor again (due to reasons) and living a normal life?

Clare might die but I think we'll see at least one other "splinter" of her to stop too many tears

Do you think Clara leaves this Saturday? Does she die permanently? Does she die and is then brought back to life Rory Williams-style? Does she die and we then see her reappear as some kind of ghost? Does she die and we see her in flashback? Does she die and we see her Zygon double? Is it her absolute last appearance on the show? |

As for that supposed finale pic, looking at the clothes, it's from Face the Raven. |

Yeah - the waitress Clara on DWM's cover is probably a splinter.

I can't see why it would not be connected. Front page of DWM and apparently pictures of Moff in same diner. My money is on the Doctor meeting another splinter and feeling OK that Clara lives on

There are pictures of the Doctor entering that diner in episode 12, so would be strange to have Jenna dressed up working there if she's not in the episode!

We might think she dies here, or the Doctor might think so. There's no way she's not in the finale though.

What wouldn't make sense is if a splinter shows up in the Doctor's present timeline, because the Great Intelligence was attacking "the Doctor's entire timeline" - which at the time meant everything from the Doctor's birth through to the events of Trenzalore. Therefore the last splinters who 'saved the Doctor' were Oswin and Victorian Clara, and there can be no more splinters in the Doctor's timeline post-Name of the Doctor. |

Me too! She's been the best companion since Donna in 2008! ![]() Every time I watch the scene in The Name of The Doctor when the Eleventh Doctor hugs Clara and says, "My Clara", I get tearful. If what people on here have been saying is true about Clara leaving this weekend, then I'm going to need a full box of tissues! |

This would make sense if the Doctor goes off and deliberately tracks down a splinter from earlier in his own timeline in order to speak with her for purposes of 'closure'.

Wrong, I'm afraid. The Twelfth Doctor already met a Clara splinter in DWM.
