Me too! She's been the best companion since Donna in 2008!

Every time I watch the scene in The Name of The Doctor when the Eleventh Doctor hugs Clara and says, "My Clara", I get tearful.

If what people on here have been saying is true about Clara leaving this weekend, then I'm going to need a full box of tissues!
You are brave. I'm contemplating not watching

I have been reading the BBC spoilers for Doctor Who and it looks like Clara is leaving this Saturday? The upcoming 2 part finale episodes are about the Doctor and Gallifrey.

Do you think Clara leaves this Saturday?
Why do people always start this stuff up.

Read the bloody cast for the final on wikipedia! Jenna Coleman is cast for that episode. Clara isnt leaving tonight.

That shit was bad enough a few years ago when you tried to tell ppl the doctor wasent dying when River shoots him in the astronaut cos everyone just goes stupid and says we saw him shot.

Calm down, it's not good for your blood pressure.
But nip down to Tescos Dave, you might need a few extra eggs for your face later...
It's almost 100% certain that Clara's fate is sealed in tonight's episode, regardless of whether of not Jenna is in the final episode. You know, timey wimey, splintery wintery...

I wonder if this is going to be a "death" which turns out to be nothing more serious than Clara never being able to see the Doctor again (due to reasons) and living a normal life?
Good call. She does something so stupid and arrogant he finally dumps her for her own good.

Trap Street aside they'll be in the right place for him to leave her behind so he can bugger off to go find you know where

Not gonna happen. Whatever occurs tonight is terrible enough to send the Doctor off on an apparently brilliant speech in which he even

Spoiler

so it would be a bit silly for him to sack her off out of choice and then get all angsty about it.

At this point I really think there's more evidence for her going tonight than in the finale.

Jenna will show up in the finale, but I doubt Clara will.

Ah but are you sure the speech is triggered by her fate, and not just by her being really annoying?

Wikipedia is not reliable. Anyone can edit it.

The BBC has confirmed today that Clara leaves in tonight's episode.

True, most of this is extrapolated just from the fact that next week's episode is Capaldi's solo one and of course the fact that just because Jenna is in the finale doesn't mean that Clara is.

Could be he's just going for a day trip to Gallifrey and will be home for dinner with Clara.

I think my hope of her being squashed by a giant foot is a long shot but I'd still enjoy seeing Clara dumped then say Jenna turning up as the moment in the finale.

The Doctor is wearing his smart shirt and clothes in tonight's episode so were episodes 1 to 9 of the Doctor in mourning following whatever happens to Clara as he does look quite scruffy and rough in those.

Someone posted a similar thought on another thread and this would make sense. Although he does seem to recognise ashildr in the ' face the raven ' trailer which wouldn't fit in but maybe that's just clever editing? Either way, hopefully we'll get some answers as to what's going on tonight! Maybe the significance of the sonic sunglasses might get explained too....

I noticed that. He seems to be wearing a red velvet jacket and wondered whether that might have any significance...

Jenna was seen filming for the finale. So either Clara is back somehow (in such a way that means she can't travel with the Doctor) or Moffat has gone back on his previous insistence and is revisiting the echoes.

When did Moffat ever say that.

Most likely thing in the Finale is the Doctor meeting Oswin and (possibly) saving her from becoming a Dalek.

He's mentioned in the past (I think it was at a convention panel) that he wasn't interested in revisiting the echoes, that the story's moved on and the audience wouldn't be interested anyway.

But surely if he saves her from becoming a Dalek that screws up his whole timeline and then chaos ensues?

Quote from www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho:
"Jenna reflects on working with Peter…
As we bid farewell to Clara, Jenna Coleman opens up about Peter Capaldi…"

Which admittedly sayd nothing about the timing of said departure, I'd be surprised if they'd put it up 2 weeks early?

Ok he lets her become a Dalek but then saves her just before the planet blows up.

After that he pays for a good psychiatrist for her who over time gets her to be ok with being a Dalek
