'Comedy' music
In the last few series, have you noticed that they bring in this sort of slapstick comedy music when one of the candidates is about to say or do something stupid, I really hate this and it's dumbed the show down so much. It's supposed to be about serious business, and instead, it makes them look like clowns.

I agree, it has really changed the tone of the show. I've been thinking about how gradually from Series 6 onwards it has turned into too much of a comedy show.

I noticed some music from "Wall-E" last night, which I have the soundtrack for.
I don't think it was too much though last night. |

They like the "funny" track "Fish Custard" from Doctor Who Series 5 as well!

Hmm I remember music like that being on there even in series 2.

It's as if they're just picked up off the streets, put in front of a camera, and then left to their own devices. And I'm afraid they do generally come across as clowns. With their lack of business savvy, it's pretty much a given they'd act like they were in a circus. |

I actually think the candidates haven't a clue on how to run a business. This is by judging nearly every series.

They are set up to fail with the sleep deprivation and ridiculous deadlines.

The tone of the show has changed though, and it's not just the music.
How I see it is that The Apprentice was a cold, hard, cut-throat, gritty television program for the first five years, and has gradually (with some exceptions) transitioned to more of a fluffy comedy program. |

To be honest it seems much the same programme as when I watched it first (Series 3), it always was a hybrid between a serious business programme and a reality TV show
