It is interesting that Selina gets compared with Katie Hopkins, while Mark Wright last year was basically the male counterpart (sniping behind peoples backs; for newer viewers..........that's how she rolled back in the day......and also in the hay ).
To be fair there, I think that criticism of Selina is more because of her post-show antics rather than her on-show antics. And of course her real life drama has just amplified all the constant negativity she spouts on the show, which is why I personally think she's a lot worse than Mark.

Ah right my bad I misunderstood! But yeah, I realise my post may have just shot down literally everyone but actually I personally am rooting for Vana vs Richard as our final two. I mean I like Vana but I can see how some people may be concerned by her getting further than any other girl (which is likely to happen at this rate let's be honest).

However, next year (if there is a next year which I hope there is), I hope we get candidates who are more focussed on teamwork rather than endlessly looking for ways to f*** each other over. It's getting a bit tiring, watching poor candidates criticise each other to the camera. If we could have an entire series full of Felipés, I would not have a problem there.
That's not a new thing though - the show has been extremely ruthless since the word go, and that's always heavily come through in the edit.

I hope they go back to 16 next year. I've realised that having the triple firing literally adds nothing, and actually devalues the show as it just appears to be gimmicky. Also the candidates will be more investable, as each one will have more air time.

By the way, I can picture a Vana vs Richard final too, for sure. I fear Joseph might get there - can't really stand the guy.

Yeah I know it's not new, but I would like a set of candidates where it isn't SO prominent that literally everyone is doing it to everyone right before the first task has even begun, just for a bit of a change from the norm.

And agreed on Joseph, he was arguably the only candidate this year that had an "amazing" performance on a task, but he's one of the most smug candidates this year, there's just something about him that creeps me out. He does seem like one of those candidates that'd talk himself out in the interview stages, but then again so does Richard. Here's hoping he doesn't go on to win at least, that'd be a bit disappointing.

The problem is that all the candidates are pretty useless

On the contrary - Richard, on results, is one of the strongest candidates they've ever had.
