How to "clean" a phone being sent for repair?
I need to send my HTC away to get cracked screen replaced.
They prefer that phone is not locked so that they can test the phone fully. Obviously I don't want some geek, however helpful, logging into my DS account etc. I'm useless at passwords do rely on phone to remember them. I'm a technophobe so bear with me.. So... I'll be taking SIM card out to put into old phone while cracked one is away. Log out of apps like Facebook, British airways I open browser and delete history - will that wipe my passwords for other sites? I understand that you can't log out of gmail app, you have to remove google account from phone. What else please? Thanks |
