I'd say Jamelia and Kellie, but really anyone other than Jay.

I always start to get a little nervous for my faves when I see this thread! Really hard to call this week. Jamelia seems the obvious choice alongside pretty much anyone other than Jay.

Whoever Jamelia is up against in the DO.

I think Jamelia is a definite. Kellie more than likely.

Jay is a definite to win imo - so no danger at all for him.

I think Georgia has garnered enough support to see her through tomorrow night.

Anita, Peter, Helen and Katie - are the ones I'm just not sure about.
Anita seems popular, Peter has lots of fans, Katie and Anton seem to have enough fans (to pull them out from low positions in the table) and I think Alijaz is popular enough in his own right. Just don't know which ones have stronger support than the others. I'm sure theres one out of these 4 that have less support than I'd imagine, just don't know which yet

The only two contestants who will be safe at Blackpool this weekend will be Jay and Georgia. I do agree though with that it is very very likely that Jameila will be in the bottom two for a fifth time this year. Whether or not she will face Kellie, I don't know.

Anyway, I would like to see their performances first before I make a final judgment

Jamelia Kellie Peter in most danger. I think any of these three need to be in the top 3 to stay safe

Georgia and Anita are possible if they end up mid table.

Helens rehearsal looks good enough to protect her if she's top two. Otherwise I'd say she's the same level of danger as the first 3.

Katie I expect to be safe with a top 2 placing

Jay I just don't know where he'll place. I don't expect him to be top as I think Salsa is compact for Blackpool. I think even low down he's proved the fan base to keep him.

I'm saying lowest chance of dancing off is Jay and Katie.
Highest: Jamelia, Kellie and Peter (although I fully expect him to be overmarked to protect as the only other male)

Might as well skip this week - Jamelia's bound to be in the dance off and going home.

Jay and Georgia will be safe, regardless of position on the leaderboard. Katie & Anton's dance was being massively hyped last week, so it's bound to be a good routine and safely through.

One of Anita, Kellie or Helen will join Jamelia. We know that Jay/Anita/Helen/Jamelia/Katie all beat Kellie in the public vote in week seven, so she can't be doing too well in the voting, but it will depend on the leaderboard. If Anita and/or Helen are behind her by two or three points, then Kellie could get through over them.

The judges will continue to make sure Peter remains at (or near) the top to ensure he gets through.

The middle of the pack have a real competition on their hands. I feel as though we have two guaranteed finalists (Jay and Georgia) and Jamelia's guaranteed to leave before the final. The rest is wide open. I don't expect Peter to be there, but since the judges get the final say, I'm not so sure.

In all honesty I think ANY of them could be in danger - though Jamelia more so naturally. I don't buy this whole 'Jay will win' thing, IMO a lot of it will come down to floating voters in the end so if he has a bad week he could be derailed. I hope that doesn't happen, but I don't take it for granted that he is safe!

I also don't assume Georgia is safe, she has a less crowd pleasing dance this week and if she struggles then I wouldn't rule out a 'shock' dance-off appearance. Anything could happen at this stage!

I don't know, her Quickstep looked quite good in training, while Kellie's lost some training time due to Kevin's illness (plus her ballroom isn't amazing to begin with); if those two are in the dance off, it might be closer than one would expect.

Even if Jay finishes bottom on the leader board he'll have enough votes to go on to the next week (and win the whole thing, obvs).

Georgia needs votes, come on GG!

B2 is likely to be between Jamelia and someone else, hopefully Helen or Kellie.

I think people see Jay as very safe this week because he's been tested at the bottom half of the leaderboard twice now as recently as last week where he was 3rd from bottom

Jamelia definitely - plus possibly Kellie (because she's been in the DO before) and also Katie - if she messes it up this time then there's really no way back for her I fear.

That alongside his massive fan base on-line. I know it doesn't paint the whole picture, but it does give an indication of his popularity. Hes not just ahead in all the polls but ahead by a massive amount, regardless of dance on the night. His tweets are retweeted thousands of times. Alongside that, he gets huge cheers at every show - disproportionately louder than anyone else. Hes bookies favourite. I don't know how anyone can't have already picked up on the the fact that he has huge support.

All that needs to happen is:
1) for Jamelia to have a good dance and avoid the DO and/or
2) for one or more of the others to have a dance that doesn't quite suit them (as Rufus Hound so wisely said...) and there could be an upset.

It seems pretty certain Jamelia will go this week and any of the others could be in the dance off, as the judges marking has been a bit erratic lately. However I think the fans will keep Jay and Georgia off the bottom two and the judges will keep Peter off. Next week will be the shock week though when some peoples favourites start to go home.

Am I right in thinking that Peter and Georgia are the only ones that haven't been tested on the public vote?

This will be an interesting week, because I think Georgia will continue to do very well , but we really haven't seen much going on with Peter's jive yet. If he has obvious flaws, and the judges continue to protect him, they will look ridiculous.

Kellie would probably be saved rather than Katie if those two were in it

More interesting is who will be going next week? Probably Katie, but who will be in the dance off with her?

After that it's anyone's guess.

The only celebrity that I'm 100% sure is safe is Jay. ALL the rest of them except him are in danger. I'm still not convinced by Georgia's popularity despite the 3 amazing weeks she had. . In fact, I would argue that Anita and Katie are more popular than her.

It's hard to say really. Jamelia QS looked quite good but will she deliver on the night ? Even if she does, will it be enough to keep her out of the bottom 2 ? I guess we'll see.

The last couple of weeks have proven Jay's support is huge. The cheer in the audience compared to the rest is huge, that alone tells you what the general public think, never mind all the support online he's getting.

He's won the show, which is fine, but there's absolutely no suspense which is really frustrating when we have such a good final eight


Jamelia will have to do a LOT to stay out of the dance off. It's at the stage where everyone has their favourites, so for her to get people to abandon them for her, or for her to pick up casual votes, she's going to need something that WOWs the audience as well as a good leaderboard position. Anything outside a top three placing and I'm not sure she'll be able to pick up enough votes to get her through. Although, there is a small possiblity of her being saved again by the judges, I just don't think the judges will continue to put her through this constant rejection if she's there again. If they can 'justify' sending Pixie home, they'll easily be able to justify keeping Kellie (or anyone else) over Jamelia, regardless of whether they do worse than her in the dance off.
