That is the huge Headline on the Front Page of tomorrows Sun with a sub headline Judges Don't Score Fairly. I am sure the Producers will be delighted on Blackpool Weekend for that headline on the front page in the Countries biggest selling Newspaper.

I am sorry I cant post the link.

Obviously it'd be best to wait until the "content" is available to actually read but, isn't Ola strongly backing Peter? And she's complaining about unfair scoring? Really?

Be utterly hilarious if she's claiming he's being underscored.

Tabloids like The Sun have been known to have had 'exclusive interviews' with people without ever actually having spoken to them! It's amazing what can be patched together with out on context quotes, rumours and downright lies.

That's what I thought.

If it really is an exclusive interview, it'll have to be focussing on under marking, maybe Anita and Craig's 6 for Jay?

Or maybe over marking K&K to save them from dance off whilst conveniently ignoring Peters over marking?

Or yet another moan that they should mark those with prior training to a different scale?

Eta: are they allowed to call it an exclusive interview if they haven't actually interviewed the person?

Well they can if they did interview her , but it is not unheard of for a paper to interview someone and then add to the interview things they did not ask them about but quote a source as saying . We will see what is said !

Hmmmmmmm

Oh for the days when you'd read an interview in Smash Hits and be able to trust it was what they'd said.

My first dealings with the press as a young sportsman, I was asked a question by a reporter to which I said NO COMMENT
Next day a 3 paragraph "quote" was in the paper.

When I got hold of him his reply to my "polite" question of why was......."nobody says no comment to me...Sue me if you like"

Cressidab has put a quote and a link to the article up in the attic on the Jay and Aliona thread

Here's the link to the article

Looks like it is an interview with her.

I wonder what she's hoping to achieve by doing this interview. No one person is bigger than the show ... what will it achieve? Is it revenge against the producers? Is she joining James on the dark side of public image?

I have felt warmly towards Ola however the content of the interview feels alienating to someone like me who is enjoying the entertainment value of strictly, even if I agree with some of the things she has said re: scoring ... Her display of bitterness, although understandable if one feels hard done by, seems unwise and is off-putting. It makes me think about how future employers will view such displays.

To be clear, I think people should have a right to complain but the way it is done says more about the individual than the organisation they are complaining about.

Something I noticed she said:

Jamelia is the only one left without dance training. - what about Anita?

Probably just forgot her.

I think it's interesting what she says about the leaderboard stuff, we all have muttered about it on here... like Georgia getting the 10s last week even though Darcy had seen the mistakes?

Maybe Georgia isn't pulling in the public votes?

I think she meant Anita.

Just today Anita has tweeted as part of her Strictly Q&A that she (Anita) has never danced or done gymnastics in her life. A complete beginner.

So she must have forgotten Anita then.

I am pretty sure she meant Pete, Jamelia or Kellie or even Helen by that. Would be very surprised if after three great weeks Georgia isn't pulling the votes.

"She claimed judges regularly over-mark couples to help keep them in the competition."

Her hubby and Pammy come to mind...
