I think what Ola says is probably fairly accurate. Maybe her motives are somewhat questionable but her comments are still relevant.

I don't think people think it's Georgia being overmarked for protection (I think she's fine for support). Darcey looked silly for pointing out the mistake then giving a10 though, especially after penalising Jay a point because it was week 3!!!!

I think General concensus is Peter being protected with scores and a smoke machine. And my personal reason for thinking this is not because they love him or desperately want him to win, but more likely because after apparently having trouble getting men this year, I expect they really feel they need 2 men in the final this year rather than Jay being the only guy for the last 4 weeks of the comp.

James has been trying to set up a tour with Arlene Phillips' help for the last 3 years. So far, unsuccessfully. However according to the article it looks like more positive news for next year. Also, the much vaunted baby might be a step nearer now Ola is 33 and James pushing 40

Live Tour has very little to do with the Strictly TV show. Live Tour is organised and run by professional West End producers. BBC is only 'associated' with it as it owns the Strictly name, etc.

TV show producers have nothing to do with it. Some judges, pros and celebrities get involved with the Tour, some don't. Makes no difference.

Alesha didn't do the Tour and they made her a judge!

So far - the celebs doing the tour are Ainsley, Georgia, Anita and Frankie.

That said - as has been pointed out the Tour is a franchised spin off and Craig essentially runs it, and cherry picks which pros do it. I do recall that Robbie Savage wasn't best pleased when he agreed to do it and found that he would be partnered with Katya for it as Craig wouldn't hire Ola for it.

I wouldn't mind betting that the pros are all cheering Ola on for telling it as it is! She's got nothing to lose by speaking out now, so she is just confirming what we've all thought for years!

All her 'revelations' are just stating the obvious - without any actual evidence they might as well have done an exclusive interview with someone from this forum. Also, her comment that the pairings used to be done on height and personality doesn't really make sense - how does she explain Kenny Logan or Andrew Castle? The whole interview just reeks of bitterness because she (and James) are no longer the star pros, presumably because they feel it has been taken over by the Cliftons and their BTF friends. Its understandable to feel that way, but I don't see how giving interviews like this will help their future career prospects. I've never really bought the 'poor Ola having to put up with James' thing - they both seem as bad as each other.

If there is a big conspiracy going on, its a ridiculous one imo. I believe Peter Andre has been overmarked a bit too. Don't mind the guy, but hes one of my least favourites, but it doesn't bother me at all. I don't mind his Charleston marks, since I think it was fair enough for him to be top of the table (and its position in the table that counts). And as for the rest.....I know hes losing popularity because of it....its fans of Peter Andre that should be worried about his overmarking and ones who are not keen on him should be quite pleased as its putting more people off him as the weeks go on. Same goes for Jays 6 from Craig. Not that Jay needs the extra votes, but had he been someone who wasn't as popular as he is, that kind of mark would have gone a long way to ensure he got through as he'd gain so many extra votes due to the 'injustice' of it. Thats how it works.

If I was a contestant on there, deseprate to get to the final, I'd be so much more optimistic about reaching there if the judges were unecessarily harsh to me than if they overmarked me when I didn't deserve it.

It always amuses me that when whatever bias is going the Jordan's way, all well and good, they play along nicely. The second things aren't going their way, they'll bleat away to whoever's got the biggest cheque book. They aren't exactly earth shattering revelations. There is a sour taste to the Jordans now, I'm not sure who would want to employ a pair who turn toxic the minute things don't go their way. Bet James thinks he's some sort of cunning media maestro, when the only maestro he resembles is the clunked out old car.

Still it makes a nice change from the 'Ola quitting to have a baby' stories.

If there's any fixing going on, it's just to try to make it more of a competition to keep it interesting - like slowing Jay down by giving him the AT early and giving Peter lots of dry ice.

The bit that made me smile was that she felt the need to point out that Chris Hollins hadn't had any prior dance training - I think we all had that sussed without being told!

That said, the Jordans do like to make it hard for themselves don't they? She has come out with all this carp whilst still having to participate in several more shows - that'll make for some awkward conversations won't it?

Yeah sorry, I perhaps wasn't clear, I was sort of agreeing with you that the idea that Georgia needs protecting is a bit far fetched and j don't think she's being overmarked anyway. I think Jay is being unbelievably undermarked to keep things open if anything.
