I was quite annoyed to discover that the version of the BBC iplayer on the Amazon appstore did not support Chromecast, and spent some time jumping through hoops to try to get it to work, with only partial success (I think I managed to get access to the Google appstore, but still couldn't get the proper version of iplayer to work, for reasons I've now forgotten).
The more radical approach looks promising, but I'm not sure I want to risk it on somebody else's account! |
