He did plenty of high leg kicks, but very few kicks and flicks. It looked really odd. He was also out of sink and missed steps. If he gets more than 7s or 8s it will be a travesty...

I thought he was a bit stitched up there, the music and choreography was poor, whoever made those choices were wrong.

The music is commonly used for a jive. And you can do a damn good one to it. So no stitch up there - just bad dancing...

Unfortunately Janette is always going for big style over substance, and just doesn't teach proper steps. Thank God Jay didn't get her that's all I can say - Aliona is a fantastic teacher.

He isn't improving, ( though his ego isn't getting any smaller, and he still smarms the judges) . Tonight he has to be in the bottom 2 with Jamellia, tho he will go through.
I think what he did do showed that Peter was capable of doing a great jive if only he had been given one. Janette seemed more concerned with covering the floor......and herself in glory. Not good, but not all Peter's fault by any means.

I disagree, I think he is just not very good and this is his level. Time to go home IMO!

Not if he dances as badly as he did tonight, Jamilia was much better.
Time that he went, he has outstayed his welcome.
The both looked awful in that dance. No finesse, no technique and nothing really for Peter to learn. It was lifeless, flat and maybe had one set of most basic steps danced by the pair of them really poorly.
The music was perfectly fine, it's a jive 'classic' so to speak. Hell there's been a pro dance on this show danced to it.

No proper light kicks and flicks from Peter, he was heavy in his feet and just lacking in the proper technique. By this time in the competition I expected more from him.

I could do a better jive than that when I was a teenager in the late 1950s and we didn't have anyone to teach us, we just learned it by copying people on films. (No Youtube etc in those days).

Really? Any steps that vaguely resembled jive steps were heavy and laboured. Even with decent choreography it wouldn't have been any better.
