Anita - 10 - by giving Jay 8 I really didn't give myself much wiggle-room

Jay & Aliona: 9 - Good enough, just lacked the wow so I can see why it got four 9s.
Jamelia & Tristan: 8 - Huge improvement on her other ballroom dances.
Anita & Gleb: 10 - I may just be murdered for this... but... I thought this was the best dance/performance of the series.
Katie & Anton: 8 - She messed up, and again it lacked the wow.
Peter & Janette: 4 - Not trying to be deliberately harsh but it was dreadful.
Georgia & Giovanni: 9 - She made a couple of mistakes, and once again, not really wow.
Helen & Aljaz: 6 - So many mistakes, thought she was injured. She looked exhausted and horrified during all of the second half.
Kellie & Kevin: 9 - Pleasant enough, her best dance, again no real wow.

Shocked at everyone giving Anita 10s. I really like Anita and maybe as a dancer I am seeing things that others wouldn't but her technique was not as good as people are making out. Gleb played to his and her strengths, and the drama of the routine was great, but as far as the dancing goes, Georgia, Jay and Kellie deserved 10s.

I gave Anita a 10. I'm no expert, so I just go for the overall performance and the dance that I find most memorable..for the right reasons. But I fully accept that others may have been technically better.

Craig did actually point out how excellent her arm and finger formations were (and I agree). It wasn't technically perfect but she did a brilliant job of selling the routine and getting into character. I'd normally only give a 10 for perfection but her dance was such a great piece of theatre I couldn't resist!
