I thought they were grossly over marked for their QS. Personally I felt that there was a lot of repetition. Couldn't believe the marks were that high. Kellie's dress was dreadful too.

I don't like either of them, but decided to give the dance the benefit of the doubt. It didn't rock my world and I agree that the dress was AWFUL

Me too - thought Katie and Anton's were much much better. I am hoping against hope that it will be Kellie and Peter in the dance-off.
I think every week they are so over marked and overated.Kevin I am afraid is the producers favourite,always in the limelight as is his sister,but they are not my favourites.
The dance was nothing special and I thought Kellie looked dreadful.

Kellie will not be in the DO on that performance -it's my second fave of theirs after the Charleston - and they were NOT overmarked.
Katie & Anton were boring tonight - which is a shame. I also thought I spotted a terrible stumble on Katie's last turn.
The DO, IMO will be Peter vs Helen

Kellie is very good technically but there's something about her that makes you dislike her...I don't know what it is exactly. It's funny because I think she is a good actress and I like her on Eastenders, I think she did a great job with the rape storyline. But she and Kevin look like a pair of toddlers who overdosed on Haribo at the end of a birthday party.

Totally agree VicsMum. Really like her on Eastenders and liked her during the awards shows and from behind the scenes Eastenders interviews. But on Strictly, she gets on my last nerve and seems so phony, like a over eager child who wants to be teachers pet. There's a sense of entitlement as well. During the paso, she looked annoyed she didnt get higher marks and then there's the fact when she will always rush closest to the camera. Her and Kevin need to stop showing off.

I wholeheartedly disagree - I don't think that QS deserved anymore than 8s across the board. On this occasion I thought that even Jamelia was marginally better and Katie considerably better.
KK are good but I just don't enjoy watching Kellie dance. Whereas Georgia, Katie and Anita are graceful, elegant, do lovely lines and are a pleasure to watch, I find Katie a bit bullish and tomboy-ish.

I going to be nearly as unpopular - it was a brilliantly danced and well-choreographed routine which IMO deserved at least one 10 - but it was not better than Anita & Gleb. They SHONE tonight..

Shone is exactly the right word. Based on all the overmarking tonight they drserved to get 4 10's. And I'm not a fan of theirs, I just truly thought the whole thing was brilliant!

For me also. Kellie, Jamelia and Georgia all gave their best ballroom performances. Katie and Anita? A lot of vogueing going on, but Craig likes it. Katie's footwork was dodgy until the backing dancers started carting her about.

Were we (honestly) watching the same show??? You would have given Helen a "10" after a messed-up lift, a trip up the stairs and then going off on the wrong foot at the top of the stairs???

Sadly when a dance is exactly what it should be it doesnt have the same mass appeal judging by the comments on here I watch the show with a family of fellow dance teachers and we were just in admiration of how much content of 'proper' quickstep was in that routine, how in sync Kellie was and clever use of the extra dancers I thought it deserved to be 2nd on its own. Although anita gave a great performance it was paso light in steps imo
There was something very odd with the stage placement/camera work on their performance
For a huge amount of the time, all we saw was Kellie's back.
Watch it again and you will see what I mean. Lots of shots of Kevin's face - and very little of Kellie
The backing dancers got more face time than Kellie did
I know Kevin choreographs to make him the centre of attention, but this really was excessive
